Wake to coffee and farm fresh breakfast delivered to your door step, before hitting the trail to Pollett's Cove. At the end of the hike, have a hot outdoor shower +beverage Repeat with Skyline or 30 other park trails if desired!

The Shackteau

A rustic cabin, right out of “Deliverance.” Inside, it's a well equipped clean and cozy retreat overlooking the world famous Margaree River and hills. Margaree Forks is a great place to get away from it all, yet close to everything in western Cape Breton. I believe my happiest guests are those who are familiar with the camping lifestyle but now want something more comfortable. The owners now live in their new home on the property. Apt in 200yr+ gently haunted home

Is in a 200+ yr old home. A real queen bed has replaced the airbed and a hand held shower has been added to the soaker tub. Has washer and dryer, dining area LR w/ pull out couch, a single super comfortable bed in the 2nd bedroom. A/C a full kitchen and bath. New F&S microwave. As is expected in a 200+ year home it has a couple of slants in the floors, but not bad for the age. It is a safe family neighbourhood The black bedroom much to my son's dismay has been painted out white and renovated!

Located at Breton Cove, a tiny picturesque fishing village on the east central side of the Cabot Trail. Situated just off the Trail, nestled in the woods where you will likely smell and hear the ocean and in season, the lobster boats harvesting the day's catch. It is Very quiet here. There is an organic garden, and a lovely brook to enjoy. Lake Ainslie and the Bras D'Or Lake are just minutes away. Inverness Beach is a half an hour. A wheel chair ramp, 36 inch doors on the back entrance, and the En Suite bathroom has a roll-in shower, though the private entrance has 4 steps. The many large trees invite a walk or just sit and enjoy their beauty. I share the house with a dog and three cats, but like me, they spend much of their time outdoors.
