It is one bedroom apartment in the basement of our home, with no cleaning fee because we want you to treat it as you would your home. There is a separate entrance and access to 26 acres of hills and trees. We have two horses on the property and feed from anywhere 3 to 15 deer each evening. We are 4.2 miles from I-24 and 7 miles from Kentucky lake, Patti's, Turtle Bay and the marina. Full kitchen available and beautiful sunsets. It is beautiful, words cannot do it justice.

Lots of history is provided to read about the house and area, the decor was so charming, there was plenty of information to assist with our visit to Paducah and Jim was quick to respond with all the details to make our visit easy and relaxing. If our travels bring us back to Paducah we will definitely stay at the Buddenbaum! ❤️

This cabin in the woods was so peaceful – all you could hear were birds and crickets—no city sounds of sirens or traffic. It was amazing. Plenty of open space for the dog to wander and explore, and the huge porch with rocking chairs was perfect for coffee in the morning—great place to watch the deer and squirrels come out from the woods and run across the field. The cabin was simple—had the basics for cooking and a soft bed to sleep at night—and it is located 10 minutes from the Kincaid mounds, an historical archaeological site!

This place was incredibly clean and very well-appointed! The check in instructions were clear and easy to follow. And the check out instructions were minimal. Check-in/check-out times were convenient. The location of the place was great and within walking distance of the river and downtown activities.
