Vacation rentals with a kayak in Camden County

Janice's place was bigger than pics show. The interior was nicely furnished, and the kitchen was well stocked. The landscaping and backyard are amazing. If you are a cook at home chef, you will be surprised by the amount of cook ware and utensils available. We will definitely be considering a return visit in the fall.

Serene views of the peaceful savannah are just the added benefit of staying at this home. Beautifully decorated with light colors w moderate beach theme, just right. Uniquely perfect for a reunion of a group of friends or large family get together with parking for 3-4 cars and nice patio driveway area in back for children to play. Did not feel too close to the neighbors at all. It is short drive to town but wonderfully quiet at night away from cars passing. It is definitely a place you will want to come back to again. We have stayed at the house to celebrate father’s day weekend with the kids and loved the pool, sauna, privacy and surroundings. The house itself is nicely decorated, with plenty of room, TV is every bedroom and comfortable beds. It is also sparkling clean! We loved the pool and spent majority of the time swimming and enjoying the outdoors. The house is also very close to a big grocery store and restaurants. We had no issues with anything. Kids loved feeding ducks (it is nice to have a bag of food for them in the garage). Great place for a weekend getaway with a family!

We were there for work so space was perfect. We traveled during the day and collapsed at night. There were dolphins and wildlife in the intercoastal waterway but you need your own boat to experience the shoreline. No boat rental. For a family expect to have to drive to get what you need as there is nothing in walking distance. For our purpose the site was quiet with great common areas to set up shop. It could be much more fun if they had boat rental as you could really travel to St. Mary’s or other locations for activities, fishing, and sight seeing. St. Mary’s is very nice but not a vacation destination more a family community. If I wanted to be on the intercoastal but somewhat secluded then this would work. End of a culdesac with families on either side the street is very quiet with coastal vegetation serving as a buffer from other homes.

My family of 9 really enjoyed the 11 nights we spent here together. The house had just the perfect amount of space to accommodate our large group of adults and teens. We were able to relax and socialize all together in the big living area, and the kitchen was great to prepare meals for our big crowd. The pool was a big hit with the kids, it was used everyday and evening! Overall this house was perfect for what we needed during our stay. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

We had an incredible weekend getaway and this house was perfect . The house was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed to relax and recharge. The location was perfect—peaceful, but still close to the beach, great food, and little local spots. The host was fantastic—super friendly, responsive, and made sure we felt right at home. You can tell they put a lot of thought and care into the space. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quiet escape with all the charm of the island. We’ll definitely be back!

Fantastic home! We enjoyed our stay so much. There was plenty of space for our family with kids. Everyone had their own room and bathroom which was so convenient when coming in from the beach. We used the bikes, extra beach toys and the kids coloring area at the front of the house. The couch…I’ve never seen one so big! It was awesome for everyone to have a seat and watch tv after a long day of sun. We will definitely book again!

My friends and I had a perfect girls weekend at Tina’s place. It was beautiful, super comfortable and had everything we needed. We took the bikes to Cumberland Island to explore and swim in the ocean - a beautiful day in nature - and enjoyed charming downtown St. Mary’s for antique shopping and delicious restaurants. We all want to come back to Tina’s place!
