Comfy detached rural cottage Devon -hot tub, views

JonRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Lovely cottage, had everything we needed for a great week. Well appointed kitchen and bathrooms. All the crockery, utensils and pans you need for cooking. Hot tub was certainly a favourite and well used! Nice to have plastic ‘glasses’ for use outside. Great selection of games was a nice surprise. Being able to walk the dog right from the doorstep made it so easy - we really enjoyed exploring the smallholding. Hosts were very quick to respond with answers and support. Yes, the Tesco delivery man did manage to find us and unload :-)

Very lovely place, me and my girlfriend stayed here for a weekend and had no complaints. The host responded quickly and the property looked exactly like the photos. All the extra little touches like the fire wood, slippers, eggs and etc really made us feel welcome. Overall we really enjoyed our stayed and would happily stay here again.

Honeysuckle Cottage with optional hot tub

AngelaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Honeysuckle Cottage. Spotlessly clean and bright. Very well equipped modern kitchen. Comfortable lounge and bedrooms and a sunny conservatory for dining in. Our host Helen welcomed us and a gorgeous cream tea awaited us, together with homemade scones, jam and bread. Milk, butter and eggs also provided. Such attention to detail. The garden is pretty and dog safe. Helen even provided dog bowls and towels and a treat! We would highly recommend it. You won't be disappointed.

Orchard Cottage; hot tub, tennis, spacious grounds

JoshRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Lower Marsh Farm is brilliant. Wonderful location, excellent facilities, peaceful and calm. Due to the rural location, you do need a car to get there and navigate the area. Olivia the host is incredibly attentive, the instructions for getting there are clear, the optional services are excellent, and the setting is idyllic. We visited with two young children who were captivated by the wildlife and farm animals. Enjoy!

Beautifully Renovated Blackberry Cottage

Kimberley Ann MarieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
BlackBerry cottage is a must stay. From the day we booked Andrea was super responsive and made us feel welcome before we even arrived. Check in was easy and Andrea met us at the property. Not only was the location idyllic but the accommodation was clean, comfortable and had a wow factor. We loved cooking in the kitchen which has everything you need for whatever you decide to cook. Both bedrooms were super comfortable and the bathroom done to a high standard. Felt like a boutique hotel. Our dog also joined us and he was very happy with the stone floors throughout the ground floor, dog bowls and enclosed garden and patio. We really enjoyed reading and drinking a coffee with the patio doors open taking in the Devon landscapes. Highly recommend and we would definitely stay again. Thank you again Andrea.

The Old Dairy, “a unique, romantic retreat”

We stayed in the cottage for 5 days. The garden was like a small, beautiful paradise, someone has very green fingers. The tub and views were amazing. Inside the cottage was exceptionally clean, with all the amenities you would ever need, of a high quality. Great comfy bed too. Excellent location for exploration. Very friendly and homely pub 1 min walk away. Good parking. Why are you reading the reviews? Book now, it’s fantastic! Thank you Ashley.

Sandra is an excellent host from her communication to all the little extras at the house. The bed was super comfy, fluffy towels and cosy throws in the lounge. Thank you very much for the wine and milk, and things like tea/coffee, porridge and shower gel etc made it a home from home stay. We loved the area and would definitely return. 100% recommendation from us both. 😊

Charlestown Beautiful sea and harbour views.

JaneRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We had a fantastic short stay in Charlestown. The cottage has a brilliant location overlooking the historic harbour and coast, with plenty of restaurants just a few minutes walk away. The cottage is very well equipped & comfortable and we immediately felt right at home. With the good weather it was a treat to sit outside looking across the harbour & watch the world go by. The kitchen and dining area in particular are very spacious for a cottage. Margaret was very responsive from the time we made our booking and during our stay. There is a lot to do in the area so we were very sad to leave No 3 but we definitely look to come and stay here again.

Swallow Cottage

AnneRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a great stay here in the village of Sticker. It is on the main bus route from St Austell to Truro, so was very easy to get to from the train station (which is next to the bus station). Steve & Sue were very welcoming and helpful, and the cottage had everything we needed for our 12 day stay. There is a pub and a village shop/post office a short walk away, so very convenient. We hired a car and found it very easy to get about as we were so central. It was lovely to come back after a day’s sightseeing to the peace and quiet of our cosy cottage (and sit in the garden when the weather permitted!). We would not hesitate to recommend Steve’s cottage!

Barn in Spectacular, Tranquil Gardens and Farmland

RebeccaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a wonderful 3 weeks at the barn and were very sad to leave! As soon as we arrived, I felt myself relax. The gardens and farmland were beautiful and so peaceful, and the barn itself was thoughtfully considered, spotlessly clean, spacious and very well furnished. We had a lot of fun exploring around the farm with our 3 year old - playing down by the river and rowing the boat on one of the small lakes. It was amazing to have this on our doorstep! We visited a lot of places during our stay but my favourite was probably Boscastle - we enjoyed walking through the village through the valley to the cliffs and watching the blowhole in action. We loved the Boscastle Farm Shop & Cafe too - we sat outside enjoying the wonderful views while we ate delicious food and our little one had fun in the play area. Liz and Robert were the best hosts - we really enjoyed chatting with them and they were super responsive when we needed anything. I really hope we can return to stay again one day!

October Cottage cornish luxury

KaldeepRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We spent half term at October cottage and really enjoyed ourselves. Quiet, peaceful location with great views, walks and attractions nearby, only 30 minutes drive to Looe for a bit more hustle and bustle. The cottage was exactly how it was described. Clean, modern while keeping with cottage theme. Cathryn was a great host and communicated regularly with lots of helpful hints and even moved the Gardner to avoid disturbing us. Definitely would come back.

We had a great break at Harper's Cottage, Richard and Ute were great hoss.. We had a great welcome and quick tour, lots of good recommendations for where to eat out and about the area in general. The cottage was very private, with amazing views from the garden and the conservatory. We hope to visit again next time we are in Cornwall.

Carpenter's cottage, Bossiney

GailRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We loved staying in Gill and Neal's beautiful cottage - our first ever Airbnb experience! Everything was of a really high quality, spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. The fully equipped kitchen had everything we could possible need for a self-catering holiday and the full-sized cooker, fridge with freezer compartment and a large washer/dryer made it a real home from home. The cottage is in a perfect location and has public footpaths directly to Tintagel, and our other favourite places: the beautiful Bossiney Haven beach and the magical St Nectan's Glen, with its ancient woodlands walk, stunning waterfalls and spiritual Hermitage. Sitting out on the patio, listening to the birdsong was truly idyllic and will stay in my memory. Carpenter's Cottage would be very hard to beat and we highly recommend this wonderful property. Thank you so much Gill and Neal for having us and we hope to come again next year.

Delightful and cozy one bedroom cottage retreat

NicolaRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage is beautiful, nicely decorated throughout. We both felt like we where hidden away in it's quiet, peaceful setting. Jay's mum is lovely and lives next door, she was delightful and friendly and always on hand if needed. We had the best two nights sleep we've had in a long time. We both will miss the comfortable bed. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we wish we could have stayed a lot longer!

Corbets Tey - Home from home (dogs stay free!)

JaneRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Just returned home after our stay at Leah’s delightful one bedroom cottage. The accommodation exceeded our expectations and was perfectly placed for exploring Cornwall. Leah had provided us with little extras including dog bowls, blankets and even dog treats for our two small furrbabies. Leah was very helpful but not intrusive and always on hand if you needed anything. The accommodation was roomy for one bedroom and had a cosy feel to it. A beautiful tiny bathroom with lovely towels and endless hot water. The kitchen was beautifully equipped with everything you needed at hand .A great place to stay! My only regret is we only had a weeks stay booked! I would have happily stayed longer. Thanks for a fabulous week Leah. We will definitely be back… but for longer next time, Jane
