Waterfront vacation rentals in Cable Beach

We booked this villa last minute after we had already arrived in the Bahamas. The AirBnB we booked was awful so we actually ended up booking this place (in addition to the place we originally booked unfortunately). We wanted somewhere nice for Christmas. Everything was fantastic and it saved our holiday. The only sad part was that we could not stay longer as it was already booked so we had to return to our other AirBnB for the remaining days. I highly recommend this place. Was clean and had everything you would need. Plus the beach club and restaurant are great. Our girls used the gym and we got coffee at the dock every morning. The staff at the beach bar by the pool were amazing. There was a really lovely woman that looked after us each day. We loved the marina view every morning. The queen room has a small bunk room attached (via the bathroom) so this is good for little kids. Our teen daughters took over the queen room and the bunk room so it worked out perfectly for our stay.

West Wind ll was amazing. It is an older place but well maintained. The pools were cleaned everyday. One is heated, which was nice on the cooler days. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. The food at the bar was delicious and the drinks were too. They have 2 cats that roam the property and we all take turns feeding them. The view from our unit was out of this world. It was great waking up to the ocean and watching the cruise ships come in every morning. The bus system is close by and very easy to use. Taxis can be expensive and you have to negotiate the price. Only downside is the buses stop running around 7pm. We would come back here in a heartbeat!!!!!

Very good location, amazing views from the appartment. Very quiet & safe place. Very well equiped, we had everything that we needed! The access to the beach was very convenient , one of the most beautiful in the entire island.

Very accommodating with checkin my flight arrived early and I was able to check in before 3p. Very peaceful and beautiful villa steps away from the water. Nice balcony to read and enjoy breeze. The kitchen full stocked with everything you need for cooking. I enjoyed my stay.

I will try and summarize why you should STAY here 😇! S: safe! I could walk (about 10min or so) to the beach early in the morning or in the evening. Many people running and exercising, at the same time, is so wittier and peaceful. T: tidy! Everything was so neat and orderly. As soon as I stepped into the space, I IMMEDIATELY felt I was here to rest and rejuvenate. A: amenities! This place had everything I needed in one quaint space. They even had floaties and beach chairs and an umbrella. It was well worth my money and this will most likely be “my spot” for the long road. Y: young updates! It was very clear to see that this space has been kept up to date. So many details were attended to. Even the ceiling fans were beautiful and new age! Washing machine was here too (with soap). You will defiantly have the luxury feel here! Thank you for being a HUGE part of my healing and restorative stay Rosevelt! I can’t wait to come back. And thank you for staying TRUE to your word…

Penny was an amazing host - she so flexible regarding check-in and check-out which was really great and helpful as our flights got in early and left later. She also gave us great recommendations regarding a private chef and taxis. She explained everything about the home easily so check-in was very smooth and the home is exactly as described! She also provides so many great things for the beach, like umbrellas, and floaties, you really have everything you could ever need and want! The home is close to a great coffee shop/bar by foot as well as a grocery store. There is also a lovely private beach. It is really the perfect beach house for a getaway! Highly recommend this spot!

We had an unforgettable stay! From the moment we booked, Derek and Portia went above and beyond. Derek was super responsive during planning, and Portia helped us find a rental company that would work with me being 21. She also checked in during our flight, greeted us at the house, and even offered to take us to get food. That night, she drove me to a liquor store, showed me the best local spots, and refused petrol money! When a storm hit and we couldn’t order food, she sorted it all for us. She later even dropped off a new snorkel set after we mentioned one was missing. The home was stunning—spacious, spotless, and stocked with everything: Netflix, board games, fluffy blankets, ice, snacks, even pool gear. The lagoon was gorgeous; we saw turtles every day. We loved the porch with fairy lights and the pool table was still fun even if slightly uneven. Just bring mosquito spray! This was one of our best stays ever. We’d return in a heartbeat. This is one of my favorite air bnbs. The location was perfect. Just a few minutes away from tourist spots, but far enough away you didn’t feel in The middle of it. The house is one of the cleanest I have stayed in, and for the tropics that is everything. The house has everything you would need. Arlington was very responsive, helpful and had great suggestions. It is sitting on the water at a local swimming spot. We loved making new friends. The local kids were so fun! I will rent this place again. Thanks for a great stay!

We had the best family vacation!!! Alice and Florian, the hosts, were very helpful and friendly. Alice was there to greet us when we arrived and suggested local things for us to do since this was our first time visiting. This is the perfect place for anyone visiting Nassau. You simply cannot beat the views from this house and you even have your own plunge pool and private beach. My family loved this venue and plan to stay here when we return! 10/10 stars!!

We were staying at this apartment before getting ready to sail for a week, it was the perfect place to stay to relax before our trip on the water. It would also be great for a longer stay as you have all the amenities to use right there at Palm Cay Resort (pool, bar, restaurant, beach, etc.) Additionally, Sandrina was an extremely proactive and responsive host for any and all needs we had during our stay. She strived to make our stay perfect and was both flexible and accommodating. Highly recommend!

5 Stars – Absolutely Exceptional Stay! Everything about my stay was truly amazing! The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and exactly as described—if not better. What really made this experience outstanding was the host. She went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of, including arranging a ride for my excursion and even to the airport. I also requested an early check-in, and she was more than accommodating. Her hospitality and attention to detail made me feel right at home. If I could give more than 5 stars or a score higher than 10/10, I absolutely would. Thank you so much for everything—you made my trip unforgettable!

One Cable beach was beautiful. We enjoyed our stay. The unit was spotless . There was plenty of towels and the kitchen had plenty of condiments and cooking utensils. The pool is absolutely amazing with a beautiful beach view. It was within safe, walking distance to BaHaMar. 5 star host that was extremely responsive. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Tatjana’s apartment was even better than described. So spacious and well designed, the beds were incredibly comfortable and the kitchen had everything you could need. The pool and beach area were stunning and the fact that you could do water sports right from the beach was a big plus. Lovely location. The beach towels, cool box and snorkelling gear was so handy to take out and explore the beautiful beaches. Would highly recommend hiring a car so you can get anywhere you’d like. Tatjana is a wonderful host - super helpful and friendly. Thank you so much for our stay.

Easy walk to Bahamar and restaurants. Be aware the resort restaurants charge you 15% tip before you get the bill and they usually don't give you the itemized bill just the final # so the first place we went to ended up giving them a 40% tip which was not our intention. Other than that we should have ventured out to the local places for food. The resort food was good just wasn't anything great.

Perfect little gem if your looking for a more relaxed and serene atmosphere. Vans home was beautiful, clean and accommodating. I would stay here again!!!

Sanchia’s place is truly magical. The proximity to the beach is unbeatable—just steps from the water, and often we had the whole beach to ourselves. It’s quiet, peaceful, and incredibly private. We especially loved the screened-in balcony, where we enjoyed our morning coffee and meals while listening to the waves. The home is comfortable and well-located—close to a great grocery store and excellent restaurants. Sanchia was incredibly responsive, welcoming, and accommodating, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Quick tip: two bath towels and two beach towels are provided, so bring extras if needed. We will absolutely be back!
