Barn vacation rentals in Buncombe County

The Barn was a great place for glamping; it was clean, projector and cots were enjoyed! The large kitchen area of the barn had a full sized refrigerator freezer and had 3 large glass door refrigerators like you’d see at a grocery store. There was a crockpot, coffee maker, plenty of dishes, plates, cutlery, etc. The bathhouse is steps away and very clean. There are curtains that don’t provide complete privacy in 3 stalls of the women’s restroom but one stall has a door and is private but that is also the shower. At least one stall can be used if you’d like more privacy. Bathrooms are very clean & spacious. The outdoor kitchen/covered dining area is perfect for eating or spending time with your group. The river access is across the street. There are rocky areas that create a rock slide that our kids enjoyed! The property does lie very close to the main road, even though it’s not a busy road. Be cautious with young kids/dogs. We’ll be back! Thanks Mo and Brenda!

Wow! Talk about a fantastic place! Melody's place was very peaceful, quiet, and had a everything we wanted! There were a total of 6 of us staying and each bedroom was a good size, but the common areas were huge! The pictures do not do it justice! Melody was very responsive to my questions and provided some great local restaurants. Max the dog was awesome! He was there to greet us, hung out with us when we were outside, and even went on a little run with me! If you're looking for some peace and quiet, look no further!

There is no way to put in words the beauty and peaceful environment where this place is. Everything was perfect. Absolutely recommend this place. We stayed here with our 7 and 1 year old kids and we all had a great time. The loft is so much fun. We also saw hundreds of fireflies at night. It was lovely 💕

The stay was amazing. It was clean, to the point I would say it was spotless. Plenty of amenities are provided. The cottage was temperature controlled and made me and my girlfriend feel at home. I would definitely recommend. For its quality, the cottage is a very cheap stay! It could definitely be more pricey because of how nice it is.

My husband and I got married here 5/10/25. Originally we planned to get married in October and had to reschedule due to the storm. It was an easy switch and the property is beautiful. There is a garden, the creek and bridge are lovely. The barn was a great space for my small wedding. We had an amazing time and so did my friends and family. Brenda and Mo are accommodating and friendly. I would recommend low key or small weddings here 👍 Jack Jack made us laugh alot. Thanks for sharing the space with us for our special day!

We truly loved our visit to Asheville and having the opportunity to stay at this charming AirBnB. Celeste was always responsive, and we were excited to have such a unique place to stay with a lovely view and the woods just behind us. We know the hosts have been working hard over the last two months after the hurricane, and we were grateful they were able to open up this spot for a cozy stay while we were there to visit our son over the Thanksgiving break. We hope to stay here again in the future.

The mountain views are absolutely stunning, and getting to wake up and see goats, alpacas, and cows roaming around added such a magical, peaceful vibe. The home itself was spotless, modern, and beautifully decorated with so much attention to detail. Everything we could have needed during our stay was thoughtfully provided. It’s clear the hosts really care about the guest experience. Cozy and comfortable in every way—and honestly, the photos don’t do it justice. It’s even better in person. It’s also just a quick, easy drive into downtown Asheville, so you get the best of both worlds: nature and convenience. We also loved that it was pet-friendly (with just a small fee), which made our trip even more special. Highly recommend—this place is a gem and 100% money well spent

Great spot! The gardens are gorgeous, and the location is very accessible to Asheville and surrounding areas. You can be downtown in 20 minutes if I-40 plays nice for you. Melissa was very communicative, and helpful with anything we needed. The kitchen is well stocked, beds are comfy, and the place is very quiet and comfortable. It's also decorated impeccably. All the pics are accurate. Our 5 year old loved walking the gardens at dusk and catching fireflies. We spent a lot of time in the yard at the fireplace, listening to the stream running below. The ONLY bit I feel I should share is that there isn't a view from the apartment. It's the ground level of the building, actually half underground, and the front door/yard has a privacy fence gating the whole thing in. So you don't see much beyond that fence from the apartment or in the yard. That was literally the only thing we didn't love about it. That said, we'd 100% definitely return and you should be confident booking.

This was the perfect place to relax & recharge. Farm fresh eggs for breakfast on the back porch overlooking the pasture, with views of beautiful mountains across the horizon?! Unbeatable. We met Jen as we were packing up to leave. She was incredibly friendly & made sure our stay was wonderful. Hope to come back again next time we’re in town!

We absolutely loved staying in this house - it was so cozy and charming, the fireplace kept us warm, it was a quiet location, super clean. The kitchen had everything and more. Lots of extra linens and towels. And we were pleasantly surprised to find a cabinet full of kids toys, books, and games that our little one was so thrilled about. Perfect spot for a family getaway.

This place is so beautiful and well taken care of. You can tell the hosts have curated the space and the yard with care and hard work. It has everything you need, plus many extras. We really appreciated the very clean hot tub, filtered water in the kitchen, and good coffee provided. Dani was very responsive and helpful. The location is amazing, so easy to get to downtown and a very pretty road to drive on.

This place is heaven on earth. So idyllic, quiet, lots of hiking. The house itself is cozy and well stocked. Kevin and Linda are wonderful hosts.

The Loft is located on a beautiful organic farm on the Ivy River. So peaceful! The hosts responded immediately and made sure we got in with no problems the first night. It is a spacious open floor plan with a large deck. The well equipped kitchen has lovely cabinetry and lighting. It is nicely decorated with several big and comfy leather couches and chairs. Highly recommend by my daughter and her family who stayed there.
