Light the fire, play a game or browse books. Watch Netflix, SBS, ABC iView. A cosy night awaits with an Ecosa bed & L’Occitane products. Revel in beautiful gardens. Watch the sunset from 3 terraces. Well-behaved inside dogs very welcome! (No fence. So outside, dogs to be on a lead for the wildlife.)

The Cottage is two story and the main bed and additional bed (within the reading area) is located on the 2nd level. Suitable for children over five. Pet friendly. Blackwood 'Treetops' is also work friendly as the house has a large desk with landline and internet access. Set on 5 acres of mainly native bushland, our cottage is a real retreat from the urban rat race. The cottage is well equipped with everything to make your stay enjoyable. We have central hydronic heating but the 2 large open fireplaces are a real feature of the cottage. We are regularly visited by kangaroos, kookaburras and other native wildlife. Fur kids are entirely welcome and we have a secure area with a large kennel if you want to leave them while you explore the delights of Daylesford.

An hour from the Westgate this cottage has all you need to enjoy Blackwood. A five minute walk to town for a coffee and the paper…beautifully tranquil and quiet. If bush walking or mountain biking are interests you are surrounded by endless tracks. Plant lovers will find several spectacular nurseries near by including "St Erth". Foodies enjoy eateries in Trentham. Note: Use of second bedroom incurs an additional cleaning fee of $20. No WiFi (but I have a smart TV you can stream to).
