15 min to Niagua River: Studio in Buffalo

MistyRating, 5 stars13 months ago
After my first visit here, we loved it so much I left a great review and lightheartedly said that the only thing that could make it better was cast iron cookware and a rocking chair. So this visit, I walk in and find 2 cast iron skillets on the stove and a rocking camping chair in the living room! Now THAT is service! Needless to say, I was, once again, thoroughly impressed. We also enjoyed awesome but severe thunderstorms this time, including tornado warnings and hail, which just enhanced the coziness of this being a walkout basement and the safest place to be in a tornado. It also brought to mind another suggestion, tho, as I didn’t have any cover under which to park my rental car. That might be a good idea! I also discovered one more suggestion… in light of the boasted “country experience”, I think a fire pit or some sort of place outside where a campfire can be enjoyed would add so much too that experience! Thank you, again, for a most enjoyable, comfortable, homey stay!

This home is beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. Keitha is a wonderful host. Plenty of Farm fresh eggs and breakfast variety is offered. There is plenty of relaxing landscape. I plan to return for a longer stay.

New Build, 2023! Woodland Haven Storybook Cottage

CindyRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Woodland Haven smells like fresh paint and new drywall when you walk in! It’s so clean and inviting. There were lots of special touches that made us feel welcome. Such as choices in coffee (coffee is important!). The location exceeded our expectations - no traffic sounds, no neighbor sounds (you can’t even see neighbors). Just morning birdsong. It is totally private. Our granddaughter loved the little reading nook under the stairs and asked us to build her one. We went to see the Laura Ingalls Wilder House. It was about an hour away. Without reservation, Hollie was a fabulous host! We would stay again, if she would have us.

Charming Cottage

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is so cozy and peaceful. The shower is hot, the kitchen is equipped, there are a few games and toys, warm blankets, and a washer/dryer. My girls loved their little bedroom upstairs, the huge backyard, and the park around the corner.

Charming Ozark Farmhouse

We had a great stay at this charming farm house. We were in town for a wedding and this was the perfect location. Beds were comfy and there was plenty of room for us all to spread out. We just loved all the sunshine and plants in the upstairs library. Would definitely stay here again.

Grammy’s Cabin —11 miles from Ball Parks National

JenniferRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We were there for softball and while other players waited in traffic, we drove (zero traffic) through beautiful countryside and past the best road names (Up and Down Road, Blackberry Road etc. ) and straight to the ballfields. If you need wifi, make sure you have a powerful hotspot (we were trying to watch live NCAA championship games one evening). The kitchen is AMAZING. It reminded me of my Grandma's kitchen growing up in a small town. There are some popular ingredients (flour, sugar, salt, creamer, coffee) for shared use and all truly every room is stocked with everything you could need. We built puzzles, cooked our meals, laughed and enjoyed the porch and incredible views. The touches of home and family were perfect. We would definitely stay again. Thank you so much for having us and sharing your beautiful property and fully restored home.
