At the end of 2016 this place was still a party room where parties were held. We then decided to convert this room into an apartment that we worked on for 1 year and 3 months. This apartment is completely new with all wishes and safety requirements of this time. The apartment is built according to the building decree within the municipality of SD. The apartment is built in a basement so it always has a pleasant temperature on hot days.
“Lovely apartment! We have been here for a midweek and it was an excellent choice for two people. Spacious living room and kitchen, wonderful bathroom and nice bedroom with lots of storage space. Although it is located at the bottom of a dike, it is light and well ventilated. So no stupid intention! Zonnemaire is also nice compared to Zierikzee and the North Sea beaches at Burgh-Haamstede.”
Relax in this idyllic studio, located on a small boat by the marina on the beach on Grevelingenmeer. Wake up to the breathtaking view of Europe's largest saltwater lake. You will see a lively spectacle of passing sailing and fishing boats while enjoying a delicious breakfast on the terrace of Jeanzz beach pavilion. It is an absolutely unique loaction!
“There were two of us and we felt very comfortable. The weather "behaved correctly" for February and was therefore very bad. This fact makes the accommodation all the more difficult, but the weather couldn't harm us. A successful short vacation despite storm and rain. Zierikzee and Brouwershaven are nice and provide variety - even in bad weather. We didn't make it to Middelburg despite a 5-day stay, because we enjoyed staying in the well-designed and equipped apartment and in the Jeanzz. The Jeanzz has good cuisine and very friendly staff. Breakfast is pure vacation there.”
Enjoy the view of the old harbor from the cozy large armchair by the fireplace. Make a delicious fish soup or organize an extensive BBQ on the Bastard while you see your children playing in the garden. Stroll to the small beach or take a long bike ride. Our cottage at the Grevelingenmeer offers all that ... and much more! For questions you can always contact me. (Steven clauw) FB
“An exceptionally renovated small fisherman's house. A picture book also presents the impressive work accomplished by Steven from a ruin. Among the astonishing amenities, boiling water comes straight from the kitchen tap and dispenses with a kettle. The cupboards are full of everything you could dream of finding for cooking and tasting. Elegant sobriety and ingenuity in decoration. The pellet stove is a bit complex to master when you are not familiar with this device, but when you understand - Steven being a little stingy with explanations, and all in Dutch;) -, it's just perfect and very pleasant. The sofa is huge and comfortable. It is very warm in the house even when it freezes outside. In short it is a big dream cabin, in this pretty village of North Holland where it is good to walk on the interminable walkways of the polders.”
