We had a lovely couple of nights at Nancy's beautiful thatched cottage in Lacock. Lacock National Trust village is about a 15 minutes walk away and is very pretty and full of character. We visited Lacock Abbey which was very enjoyable and interesting and enjoyed a few pub meals in The George and Red Lion. The cottage is lovely and cosy and we felt right at home, it is full of character and in a very peaceful lane, we slept well as the bed is just so comfortable. Nancy provided a great breakfast both mornings which included cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruits, pastries, tea and coffee. The garden is beautiful and Nancy and her husband Paul keep it looking pristine. Flora their much loved dog greeted us also and enjoyed a good load of fuss and attention and was very cute. Nancy and Paul made us very welcome and we cannot recommend them enough for a lovely break at their beautiful cottage.

We absolutely loved our stay at Maggie's, one of my most favourite AirBNBs..it is in such a lovely location surrounded by winding paths and beautiful gardens, with amazing views over the town. Easily walkable to town and shops (yes it is uphill ok the way back and quite steep but it's so nice you'll barley notice). Maggie was so kind and let us check in early after, she met us and showed as all the important things in the apartment. The bed was super comfy with nice linen, having a combo washer dryer was so helpful for us midway through our travels, and the kitchen was well stocked. Honestly can't recommend this place more highly and have no faults to mention. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay in a beautiful English town, do yourself a favour and book this place.

Had a lovely couple of days here, really beautiful, quiet and peaceful but an easy walk into Holt to the pub and very easy access to Bath, Bradford on Avon and Melksham. Merkins farm shop served an amazing breakfast too! Would definitely recommend. Thanks Polly for a lovely stay in your Airstream 😊

We absolutely LOVED our stay at The Annex. From the moment we walked past the wonderfully scented roses in the front garden, we felt right at home. Nina was wonderful, not only with her suggestions for places to go, but for responding so quickly when we requested an iron. The Annex is such a lovely place to stay, with a cosy, calm, relaxing feel to it. We will definitely be returning, ASAP! Thank you so much Nina 🥰

The house was perfect, lovely location, private but close to town. The rooms were beautifully decorated and well thought through for people staying hooks for towels, luggage racks etc. Downstairs and outside, again, beautifully thought through and made us feel so welcome with fudge, wine, tea, milk and coffee on arrival. Thank you lovely stay!

Far exceeded our expectations! Lynnette’s caravan is delightful in every way. From having every little comfort you can think of (coffee cafetière, essential oil diffuser, great selection of good quality pans and other essentials, lovely blankets and cushions, great selection of teas, salt, pepper and cooking oil) to the caravan itself being fantastic ( good hot shower with great pressure, cozy bed, great options for lighting both with natural and artificial light). We found if you looked for it you would generally find it with Lynette’s caravan. You didn’t need to go without. It’s located in small campsite which wasn’t busy when we came. But even if it was you’re tucked into a pretty private corner which is lovely. There’s a tether for the caravan which we used a few times for our dog and who was pretty comfortable! Good for a small or medium dog inside. The area itself is nice, you can’t really easily walk to a town so better to have a car. Overall fantastic place would come again!

One of those little gem places with amazing comms and helpful Liz made us feel right at home, the price in my opinion is way low for the peace and sense of charm you get from this superb home, and Liz and her amazing animals made us so peaceful, and a lovely find to unwind a minute off the beaten track yet not a car sound to spoil, just superb will be back, as this is what air bnb is all about for us

I spent the weekend at this beautiful countryside manor with my friends to celebrate my birthday, and it was absolutely perfect. The house is stunning—spacious, spotless, and full of charm. The garden is just as impressive, huge and peaceful, ideal for a relaxing getaway. Katie went above and beyond to make our stay special. She surprised me with a lovely birthday card, champagne, and other thoughtful treats that truly made my day. Her kindness and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. The surrounding area is incredibly picturesque and serene, making it the perfect escape from the city. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a luxurious and peaceful retreat. can’t wait to come back!
