The mill is stunning - beautifully restored and tastefully decorated with everything needed. A real home from home. Beds were comfortable and bathroom spotless. Walk into Kendal took around 20 mins with some good pubs and shops in the town. My daughters and I throughly enjoyed our stay… Some noise from children in lower apartment early in the mornings was the only slight negative… Highly recommend the mill.

Chris was incredibly welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble and he made sure we felt settled and suggested a range of things to do and places to eat. The studio itself was well equipped and in a fantastic location, with beautiful walks from the door. We will definitely be back!

We spent two nights at The Butler's Basement for my husband's birthday and it was an ideal base. We did have an issue getting in as the lockbox didn't work, but her son came down and resolved the issue. The apartment was very clean and in a great area - some lovely bars and restaurants that we preferred to spend time in, more than the busier side of Edinburgh. Gemma was very responsive to my messages and we also had a bottle of fizz in the fridge as well as some short bread and chocolate. It might be an idea to put a small bottle of milk in the fridge, as we did have tea and coffee provided but didn't want to buy a whole pint of milk to make a couple of drinks. However it certainly wasn't an issue that would stop us staying again!

We wrapped up an incredible three-week road trip through the UK with a two-night stay at Tom’s charming coach house flat—and it was the perfect finale. This beautifully appointed second-floor, two-bedroom retreat was ideally situated, just a short and scenic walk (less than 0.8 miles) from the heart of the Old City and the Canterbury Cathedral. With restaurants and groceries conveniently located within three blocks, and every imaginable amenity thoughtfully provided within the flat—including on-property parking and breakfast essentials awaiting us—it exceeded all expectations. The comfort, location, and attention to detail made for an unforgettable stay in Canterbury. Now I truly understand why this Airbnb is so “highly rated”! Tom’s hospitality was exceptional—helpful, informative, and always clear in his communication. A truly lovely experience from start to finish.

We loved our stay … the apartment was comfortable, light & airy with a pretty view out to the garden and the walls of York. Very easy walking distance to everything you would want to see & do in York. Great local restaurants. Could not recommend this apartment enough!!

Pat’s place was perfect. It had everything we needed for a 2 day stay. When we walked in we were greeted with fresh flowers, bottled water, chocolate… The bed was comfortable, view was amazing, host was very helpful (even provided lozenges for my husband when he woke up with a sore throat).

Patrick and I had a wonderful weekend, Sinead is a great host, and very helpful. She collected our bags from the pier as we had our bicycles with us, and dropped them off when we were leaving. Sinead also drove me to the shop and waited for me while I did some shopping. we also had the nicest homemade bread, that Sinead had baked for us on arrival. wonderful host. 🥰❤️ Regards. We had a fantastic weekend getaway at Alan's. We were blessed with sunny weather and this made the views even more enjoyable. We had lovely walks along the river, and our two year old was mesmerised by all the animals nearby. The house was nice and comfy and the fridge was fully stocked with several breakfast options. Alan was super responsive and gave us tons for recommendations for family activities in the area, we appreciated his help. Highly recommended spot to disconnect for a couple of days and enjoy being in the nature

Wonderful stay at William and Joanne's. Everything you'd want from a host and a place. They were so friendly and accommodating, really went above and beyond to be helpful and make our stay memorable. The place is clean and comfy and the spot is truly beautiful. Very happy we stayed here.

The location is perfect. Train and busstation are in walking distance. The apartment and views are absolutely beautiful, you definitely pay for this though, personally I found it quite a bit pricey but it was worth it.

This was the best Airbnb I have ever stayed in. I can not recommend it higher and I will cherish the memories forever

We had a great experience in this apartment! They have all the kitchen supplies needed and the space feel cozy. It's next to the Scottish Event Centre so the location is ideal for events and the City Sightseeing Bus passes at the corner. We would go back!

I had a wonderful few days at Mark and Kristen's place with my dog. I've stayed in many properties at a similar price point in the area and this was definitely my favourite so far. The cottage was even more quaint and beautiful than the photos, and there were so many thoughtful touches, including welcome biscuits and fresh milk in the fridge, lovely bed linen and blankets for the sofa. Mark and Kristen were perfect hosts, super responsive with my queries. I would recommend their place to any friend looking for a peaceful place to stay for exploring the north eastern fells.

Loretta’s guesthouse is very high level quality for Airbnb. I have stayed in many Airbnbs but none were anywhere near as good as this one. It is absolutely beautiful and the photos don’t do it enough justice. It is extremely clean, practical and beautiful. Loretto is an extremely welcoming host. What a pleasure to have met her. I can understand the previous reviews where someone said she didn’t want to leave. The bed is very comfy and made up with exquisite linen. The sitting/sun room looks out onto the well kept garden. A pure slice of heaven. We HIGHLY recommend it. 🌸🌼

We had a wonderful stay here and would definitely return. The location is perfect - with the sea just across the road, very close to the pier/harbour area and a couple of minutes from the end of the high street. North Berwick is a lovely little town, perfect for a short break, and was particularly good for our needs with a wheelchair user / someone with mobility issues. Would highly recommend both North Berwick and this accommodation.

A very nice flat in a good location close to Haymarket and restaurants. The flat was clean and bright with nice decor and has a convenient parking space. We didn't have time to use the pool as there is so much to do in Edinburgh. Ollie was a good host, always quick to respond and helpful. It was a great place to stay.

Great Neighborhood to stay in. Walkable to Battersea park and many bus stops. Easy access to the flat. The only knock was that the flat upstairs from Charle’s place had ongoing construction and the construction worker smoked. Though, this was at no fault of the air bnb host. I had a lovely stay and enjoyed the Thai restaurant downstairs. Would stay in this cozy flat again.

My girlfriend and I had a one night stay and the attic had such a romantic, warm and cozy vibe. Truly amazing. We decided to just make food there and hang out. I’m a big fan of plants and that made this stay extra nice and inspiring due the beautiful plants the attic has! The check in, the parking and the checkout was very easy. Also their communication was fast en spot on, everything was very clear and easy. The location was not central and we didn’t go out so I can’t say anything about that.

Wow! This place was a real find. We will definitely be back! Great value for money. The kids loved the pool and the seating area outside was lovely. It was completely private and in a rural location (but less than 15 minutes away from Tenby). The apartment was extremely comfortable and clean. The kitchen was lovely! Nice big size. Even the TV was big! 5 stars all the way from us!

Stunning apartment with lovely hosts. Really beautiful clean apartment with picturesque views. The shower is amazing and the bed is so comfortable. The surrounding area is also lovely. We used the car the first day and then left it behind as the bus service is good and the roads tend to get very busy. Overall a really lovely break. The only downside was coming home

Had a lovely two night stay Annetta greated us and showed us around was very lovely, The place was beautiful and quite and very clean and had everything you needed and the hot tub was a added luxury, loved waking up and walking outside and seeing the horses. My partner feel in love with Daisey the cat she likes to come and greet u also 😀 We would definitely come and stay again 😀

We really enjoyed our stay here at Whitbarrow. The apartment was lovely, with the special addition of the balcony overlooking the beautiful views, which we enjoyed with a cuppa or two. Our boys loved the toys and the drawing that was available to play with but, of course, their highlight was the pool. Local distance to Lowther, buttermere, Penrith, pooley Bridge, Keswick etc so lots to do. We’ll be back soon! 🙂

Rosalind was a very friendly and communicative host. She offered a range of breakfasts and recommended some lovely local walks. The property was in a fab location with lots of nice walks/pubs nearby.
