Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Bristol

We saw cardinals, robins, blue jays, starlings, finches, wrens, brown thrushes, and a group of baby squirrels in the back yard. The kitchen was just right. The house itself was so cool! The towels were big and fluffy and smelled wonderful. The washer and dryer worked great and were a huge help. The bed was extremely comfortable. We were in Bristol for the NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals. We were later getting to the track and the house was so close to the speedway that we could hear the top fuel runs- which was great. Our dog is large and has lots of energy, but the yard is so big it tired even him out. The coolest thing of all was Stephen's music room! He had instruments, artwork from his best friend ( who we met, who was awesome) games, books, dog toys, kid toys, we LOVED that room! Stephen, you are a wonderful host with a wonderful house. I hope you let us come back and rent it again soon.

Heather and the uptown colonial property is amazing! It is down town but located on it's own property. It offers plenty of private parking and a very quiet and cozy back yard right outside the door. Inside is no different it too is very quiet and cozy. You will find the inside very clean and very well organized with everything you should need! Heather as a person is amazingly sweet and kind. A true hostess with the mostess! She went above and beyond to make my stay wonderful! Her personality and attitude towards her guests is second to none. You would be very hard pressed to find a hostess with more hospitality than she has! If you are looking at one of her properties look no further. You will not be disappointed at all! It says 5 stars but I give Heather and her uptown colonial property 10 stars easy!! I honestly can't say one bad thing it was a wonderful stay!!

Our stay was amazing. The inside was very clean and comfortable and the fact that they provided welcome snacks made us feel right at home. It was a great location for being walking distance to the downtown area. We would definitely stay here again if we’re in the Bristol area again.

We can only say good things about this place. The house is located on a hill, giving you a spectacular entrance. Both outside and inside, the house is even more beautiful and cozy than in the photos. We really fell in love with it. Jeff is also an exceptionally committed person and simply a good human being. We are definitely not people-pleasers, but we would recommend this stay to anyone.

The house was great; there is a small grass hill to walk up and about five stairs to enter the back door, which my 77 year old MIL was able to handle. The space was clean and comfortable, and there were a variety of toiletries provided. Ikey was also very kind and allowed us to stay late after checkout because we were dealing with a flat tire. In all, it was a higher quality stay than I’ve had before in the Tri Cities.

Melissa’s place was amazing. It has everything you need for a stay. It’s a nice, cosy place in the city of Bristol. 7 min drive to the city’s downtown. We were a group of 9 friends from DC, came for a hike to Devil’s bath tub. Best thing about the home is the backyard area with a patio to sit and enjoy your time. Backyard is big enough for group to have a 4-a-side soccer match. 🤪 We had the best time of the year. I will book the same place again when come back. Melissa is a great host. We are very thankful for her support.

This is the 2nd time Ive stayed at Micah's little cottage, and I love it. Its just enough for me and my daughters. Extremely clean, its comfortable and definitely geared to the girlies. I left a jacket behind the first time and they graciously held it and put it back for me for my 2nd visit. I like the location, its close to everything but feels quiet. You can walk to the river from it very easily. (Which I did every day)This will be my go-to for all future visits to Elizabethton. Also, Micah is very responsive, she answers quickly-everything you want in a host. Love.

Absolute perfection. My only recommendation is for guests to bring a sleep mask if you like it dark. The beautiful wooden shutters don’t keep out all of the morning light. Everything about this home was beautiful. I cannot recommend this home enough.

It is very cozy for a short stay. It is about 14 minutes to Grandfather Mountain. Great communicating with Amy prior arrival, she greeted us at the entrance.

I rented this apartment for my daughter and grandson who were visiting for a baseball tournament the place was clean my daughter said she felt safe and enjoyed there time at fox den. Will definitely stay here again. Christy was a great host and very attentive thanks for having a great safe clean space for them to enjoy this past weekend

Warren’s place was great for us and we had everything we needed. A beautiful location, very relaxing. Next time we are bringing the s’mores supplies!

Vickie was so friendly and very accommodating! We were in the area for my son’s wedding at Allandale Mansion. The bride and groom stayed here before heading out to their honeymoon destination. It was absolutely perfect! I would highly recommend staying here and working with Vickie. She was very helpful to give advice on other places for other family members coming in from out of town as well.

I really enjoyed my stay at Pam’s place. It was well lit at night and I felt very safe. The neighborhood was quiet. The apartment is perfect for one or two people. Very clean and comfortable. The bed was very nice. I slept like a baby. Pam is a wonderful host, checking in with me to see if I needed anything after my arrival. I will definitely be booking her place again when I come to visit Bristol.

Wonderful home to stay in! it is way bigger than we expected and was perfect after a long day of travel to relax in. Both bedrooms are very comfortable. Cheryl was wonderful and very accommodating for us!

This has been one of my favorite airbnbs. We were seeing a show at the Hard Rock Casino and it was close and convenient and had so much to do. The place was very clean and tidy and every area was well designed. We loved it and intend to go back.

Simon and Julia are super helpful and kind. The place was just as expected, kitchen was fully equipped, everything was clean - and beautiful views. You can hear the neighbors pretty clear upstairs - but you can’t do much about that - plus it was disclosed in the listing. So overall I give 5 stars to Julia and Simon because THEY were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING - super responsive, I will definitely be returning ❤️ p.s. my bro forgot his wallet in the bnb after we checked out and there was absolutely no issue going back to find it - they are a delightful couple.

I had a wonderful stay and a wait to come back ! The place was very cute and quaint, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. Everything was exceptionally clean, and the scenery was absolutely breathtaking — the views alone made it worth the trip. The location was perfect, close to everything I wanted to explore. Being able to soak in the hot tub and use the sauna after all day hiking was fabulous. My host was incredibly helpful and responsive, which made the experience even better. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area

Trey’s place hit all the marks for what I needed - clean, cozy, comfy, and affordable. Bonus points for an amazing loose leaf tea selection, gorgeous mountain views at sunrise and sunset, and close to everything I wanted to do in the area. (Grandfather Mtn, Linville Falls, Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster were on my list - did them all in a day.) All instructions were clear and easy, and I had everything I needed for an enjoyable weekend away in the NC mountains. Go stay here and support western NC!! I hope to come back again soon :)

This is my third stay at Hunter’s Airbnb and I’ve really enjoyed each trip! The condo is spotlessly clean and very airy, and has a stunning view out the large front windows. It’s well set up, with a surprising amount of room for stashing your stuff. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet, and I loved taking walks there. There are also lots of hiking trails very close by, although a few are currently still closed due to damage from Helene. The internet is very fast and dependable, which is not always the case at Beech Mountain. I’ve used my stays as a writing retreat and always get a shocking amount done, while soaking in the lovely atmosphere. I will definitely be back!

Great place

Thoughtful touches! From little signs with helpful info to ear plugs provided to lovely linens on the bed! This is our second stay here. It feels like you are miles away from the noise of civilization but it only a few minutes up Sugar. So, you have the babbling stream rushing over the rocks out back to listen to, but can get to Food Lion or restaurants in just a few minutes.
