I came to this lodge apartment to escape my chaotic reality — it was my first solo break, a chance to find inner peace and rebalance myself. And it did exactly that. The view was absolutely beautiful, calming, and the perfect backdrop for some much-needed rest. Sally was an incredible host — warm, thoughtful, and truly went out of her way to make my stay as comfortable as possible. She went above and beyond in every way. I felt so at peace that I actually booked my next stay while I was still there. That’s how special this place is. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway where you can truly unwind, I highly recommend this place. I left feeling refreshed, recharged, and incredibly grateful for the experience.

To say Sue is a “Superhost” is a little of an understatement. Sue went over and above to make us (my wife is in a wheelchair and we have 2 cats) feel welcome and part of the family- even to arrange a ramp to aid access to the rear garden. Having been homeless due to failed house purchase we found our stay to be a great relief. Sue has a vast knowledge of the area and its amenities. The local pub was really traditional and only 240 paces away. There are sheep, chickens and ducks at the property which all added to this delightful experience and we will certainly return.

I had a fabulous stay with my dog,the views are incredible and the surrounding countryside is so beautiful,lovely woodlands and meadows to explore,we walked for miles and definitely want to go back to see more of the area,great for wildlife,deer,rabbits,Buzzard,Barn Swallows,also heard a Yellowhammer if that’s your sort of thing. Romy was great host,very friendly and was available when needed but not intrusive,had lots of info on local life and popped round to help when I couldn’t get the cooker working,she soon sorted it out. Not too far to drive into Hastings,St Leonard’s or Bexhill on sea for the beaches or town. I can’t recommend this place highly enough and look forward to going back sometime soon.

Beautiful little cottage with all the amenities you could possibly want .we stayed here so we could explore the local countryside and this was a perfect base .we would definitely recommend This sweet cottage and will definitely be back to explore more .Thankyou Louise 😊
