The house was even more beautiful in person, with so many small touches that just made the trip. The indoor fireplace was my personal favourite as it kept me and 8 girls warm all week. Marc and Irene were very attentive hosts, checked on me mid-stay and even came to apologise when the power went off (for the whole town, so obviously not their fault!). 10/10 would stay again.

We absolutely loved our stay over Easter. The cabin was very comfortable but the real highlight was all the extras at the property. Our two boys were in heaven with the playground, sandpit, mini golf, sheep, goats, chickens and lots of space to run around. We’d love to stay again in the future!

We had such a wonderful experience at Galloway Spring Farm. We were awed by the beautiful set up of the room, complete with lots of books to read and games for the family. The atmosphere was very peaceful and there is a great view of the sun rise and sunset over the hills. We can also have a clear view of the beautiful night sky of the moon and stars. Ms Raquel is an amazing host! She is friendly and proactive, providing all the information and local recommendations before we are there. She also showed us around their farm and the kids had a great time interacting and feeding the farm animals. I would highly recommend staying here for a city getaway to peaceful farmstay. P.S. Their tomato sauce is so delicious! Be sure to try them if you stay there.

A very peaceful setting with beautiful nature surrounding the house. The kids enjoyed their adventures on their bicycles and the dog was very comfortable in the enclosed little garden. Beds were comfortable and the house was nice and cool on the hot days.
