Kate’s Place is beyond description. Perfect in every way. The converted barn has every modern convenience. Comfortable, lots of room, very stylish, quiet and secluded. The beds were very comfortable with great pillows which is always very important we loved it. Easy access to the west, London or the further south. We made several day trips. Kate is an amazing host and made our stay perfect. We can’t wait to come back.

Lovely quirky cottage with spacious lounge, dining room and kitchen. Very well equipped and we found the beds extremely comfortable. Had a very relaxed one night stay. Great that the check out time was 12pm, much appreciated. Many thanks.

Had a lovely stay at Paul's place. It has everything needed, very comfortable bed in a quiet area. Very conveniently located close to the station, great restaurants and the Waitrose. Paul and his wife were very accommodating and helpful. Definitely recommend and will return.

Extremely peaceful and private location. The property is really nicely decorated with a massive comfy bed. Annie the host was really friendly and attentive. We had a lovely stay.

Great spot in the countryside, but close enough to Farnham to be convenient for visiting our family there. This was our second stay and we would love to return next time we visit.

Had a great stay at Patrick’s. We were there for Royal Ascot and Patrick was very accommodating with times of arrival so that we could change and go to the races. Patrick took us to the station which was beyond what we expected when Ubers failed to turn up. The house was amazing, clean and spacious. I would definitely stay there again

Great bungalow lovely view. Friendly neighbours to lovely cats and dogs to even the chatty ones. Felt right at home super comfortable. The whole house worked perfectly for us. The added BBQ was amazing we got to have guests over for a BBQ sorted one out for us before we arrived. Will be staying again in the future. My guest and I loved the conservatory the most so open and lovely warm sun through the windows with added privacy of the blinds just what we love. The dog enjoyed himself to.

Alison is a caring host and wants guests stay to be comfortable and relaxing. The attention to detail and amenities are complete. The annexe was clean, well equipped and relaxing. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this for a stop over for a few days to explore the area. We used it overnight for Ascot Racecourse trip. Friendly, communicative and true to her word. There are two lovely , friendly dogs and Alison has them in her garden , although she’s happy for them to greet you if you wish. 🙂. Highly recommend. If you visit , be respectful and kind just as she is.

A beautiful barn conversion in lovely grounds with lots of facilities, with thoughtful and helpful hosts. It was a fabulous long weekend and we didn’t need to leave the grounds to be entertained throughout, from in the pool to playing pool, it was all we could ask for.

My husband and I booked Fiona's place for 2 nights just for pure relaxation and to get away from the usual chaos of life. It was just what we were after. Close enough to Henley for a meal out and a stroll along the Thames but also total peace and tranquility back at the cottage. The use of the pool was a bonus too. We will definitely be back. The perfect tonic.

My partner, me and our dog stayed at Madeleines pool house, absolutely stunning and comfortable! So much space for our pooch. Madeleine and her husband were so welcoming and helpful throughout our visit! Thank you so much for your flexibility and responsiveness!

The Island House is a beautiful, comfortable oasis surrounded by green space and with views of a branch of the Thames. It is private, quiet and light-filled, affording a view of the diverse birds in the trees and passing swans on the river, while also within 8 minutes drive of Hampton train station with easy links to central London. There are cute pubs and restaurants in the local town (about 15-20 min walk or 2 min drive) and nearby towns, and expansive Bushy Park and Hampton Court are just 15 minutes drive. If you don't fancy a walk and don't have a car, but want a quiet weekend away without cooking - many local restaurants and grocery stores deliver to the location. Lisa is friendly and responsive and welcomed me with coffee, tea, fresh bread, milk, butter and fresh pressed juice. Staying at the Island House was such a treat; exactly the restful spot I was looking for while in the greater London area. Thank you Lisa!

A lovely stay , my daughter and myself needed a quiet relaxing break and that’s what we got. Cute little lodge in a beautiful setting. Although we never met Alex we met Philip Maggie and germaine and all lovely and very helpful. A tree fell across the lane whilst we were there and were potentially shut in but Philip managed with the help of farmer moved cattle and escorted us out via the field 🤣….We had the best roast dinner at the checkers pub not far highly reccomend with the wonderful friendly staff . We did manage to have a swim (tad chilly) only due to weather change. But sat in pool area to chill and chat. Shower was great hot and powerful. Yes cooking facilities minimal but can def make do .. bbq outside if wanted to use. Only issue we found was fridge quite small and on Longer stays would make storing more food a problem.. would reccomend X

Our second stay and once again an absolute dream. Wonderful host, beautiful part of the world. The home is so lovely and couldn't be in more perfectly wonderful surroundings.

Neil and Heidi were lovely hosts, easily approachable and plenty of helpful local knowledge. The cottage easily exceeded our expectations, it was spotless, well decorated and had everything that we needed for our 10 day stay. The local area was quiet and the surrounding area had plenty of cycling routes to keep us entertained! We have no hesitation in recommending the cottage to anyone requiring a peaceful stay or easy access to London and local towns and look forward to a return visit when stopping in that area.

I can’t think of a better place to start our trip to England! 20min from the airport yet you feel transported to the English countryside. Beautiful views of Windsor castle, lovely surrounding gardens and fields. Susie and Hamish were impeccable hosts and left a delightful basket of goodies. Our two children greatly enjoyed their Brio train set and frolicking in the garden, as well as feeding seeds that Susie left us to visiting carrier pigeons. We enjoyed all of Hamish’s recommendations, particularly the walk through Windsor Great Park, dinner at Barley Mow, and a day spent at Savill Garden and Adventure Play. You won’t regret your stay here!

Just back from a lovely stay in Old Windsor. The accommodation was beautiful, and looked after by the lovely and helpful Lucy. Windsor & Datchet are a 30 minute walk or 2 minutes in the Car or bus. Slough is 10 minutes away and a great train service which gets you into London within 15 mins. Casa by Grace is a beautiful home and immaculate inside, couldn’t of asked for a better place to stay.

I loved my stay at Patrick and Susan’s place. When I arrived, the house was bathed in sunshine. It’s covered in ivy and so beautiful—it looks like something out of Grand Designs. I love the Scandinavian design inside. It’s peaceful and tranquil—spacious, relaxing, and full of that hygge feeling. I spent one night there with my mini dachshund dog. It was 24°, a beautiful summers day, so I had an outdoor shower in the evening sunshine, which was such a magical experience. There’s also an indoor shower, which was a pleasant surprise when I arrived. It’s great to have both options—it makes the place feel even more thoughtful and well-designed, and adds to the sense that it’s a perfect find! I only stayed one night, but I would’ve loved to stay longer! The bed is really comfortable, it’s incredibly peaceful, and I loved watching the trains go by during the day. There are so many beautiful places to explore nearby! Highly recommend! X

Kate is such a great host, her place is magical, really does feel like an escape. I have been working in shepperton studios which is 25-30 min drive and I know long cross is also close so was ideal for to have somewhere lovely to stay after a busy days work. I’ll definitely stay again.

We absolutely loved staying at Penelope’s Coach House. It has been beautifully designed and decorated and every room has all one needs. The house is in a very quiet location and there are wonderful walks in the area as well as a fantastic pub with delicious food and friendly staff. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Cathy was a fantastic host, was proactive with her instructions and support whilst we stayed with her. Great location for getting into Reading and a quick train into London. Would stay again
