Cozy room near center/railway station +bike

Beautiful townhouse 2 km from the center of Leuven. Lovely bathroom and cozy room. Possibility to have a coffee or tea in the room. Although I did not meet Sofie, there was a very smooth communication. Check-in was with a key safe.

Large and bright apartment.

We were very pleased to spend some time at Katy’s place. She and her husband knows how to welcome people to their space. We felt as if we were at home. She was willing to give anything I was asking for ( one day I even asked her to borrow me some of her lipgloss, lol and she gave me ) We would definitely recommend this place to others. Thank you again for your hospitality.

Fine mezzanine room with double bed

IanRating, 5 stars6 days ago
I stayed at Griet's for a week while visiting Mechelen for a conference. The attic room is peaceful, comfortable, and like a little cottage atop of her house - private yet still connected through shared hallways, bathroom, and a gorgeous backyard. Griet was communicative and flexible with check in, supplied me with eggs from her chickens, and a powerful fan when the weather got very hot for a few days. She took time to talk with me about Mechelen and Belgium, and social issues in the world. Much of the time I was in and out of my room without much interaction, but openness to conversation and exchange really brightened my days. This was hands down one of my favorite experiences facilitated through AirBnB.

Guesthouse in greenery.

My wife and I stayed with Josiane for two nights. In a room surrounded by trees, you will automatically relax. A visit to Mechelen, Leuven, Brussels or Antwerp is easily doable by car. Cycling or walking in the area: definitely do. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and a small supermarket (open 7/7 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.) is a good 1 km away. Cooking yourself is a bit more difficult: you only have an oven available. But it is possible. Refrigerator, Nespresso for coffee and a kettle are available. Plenty of plates, glasses, cups, tea, coffee... everything is provided. A very good bed: not too hard or too soft. The bathroom has a spacious bath with an abundant choice of products. Please note: no shower. The toilet is behind a wall. Josiane responds very quickly to your questions: plum. Recommended!

Airport

IsabelRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Had the best stay at Jordan’s place! I am a 21 yr old female and am always skeptical about staying in homes with others but felt safe from the start. I had a big luggage but was able to keep it in the garage which is at street level and has 2 doors to secure which Jordan showed me how to open so I could open it myself in the early morning to catch my flight. The Ubers were only €9 from Jordans to Airport but I choose bus as it was right in front of the apartment and only €3. There was a lock on the room door which was easy to use and Jordan gave a set of house keys so I could come and go as I pleased. Location amazing, close to bus ~1 min and train ~3min which also goes to city center. Note that essentials aren’t provided as described in listing so if you plan to stay multiple days don’t forget a towel :) would stay again!!
