Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Blue River

The place was beautiful and exactly as the listing and pictures showed. We LOVED the donkeys and miniature horse. It is out in the country, so not close to restaurants, but was perfect for the wedding venue we were attending at The French Farmhouse.

It felt very homey. Kitchen is fully stocked with seasonings and all the pots and pans and plenty of dishes and silverware. Didn’t have to worry about not having any coffee soap or paper towels either. We had everything we needed for our weekend. The yard was perfect for our dogs and the fence was secure. Wish there wasn’t so much rain so we could have gone to the lake.

Such a beautiful and relaxing place to spend the weekend. We loved all the nature and the scenery. We hope to return!

I really enjoyed my stay Jacob was super respectful and responsive to any issues I would have (which I didn’t have any) I loved the home and was super thankful for Jacob trusting me in there home I highly recommend Jacob’s place for an escape it was awesome I will for sure be revisiting thanks Jacob!!

Larry & Tabatha are great! This isn't our first stay and won't be our last. We always seem to make it during severe weather and they make sure we are doing good and feeling safe. Big plus--hanging out with the neighbor! Such a great community and hidden gem of a lake cottage! We truly appreciate the hosts and their love of animals and the lake!!!

Peaceful, quiet, large space for decent group size, and short drive to casino!

Had an excellent stay at Holly’s place. She was super responsive & accommodating and allowed us to check in early. House is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed or wanted. I would recommend taking advantage of the parking inside the fence. We would stay here again!

We absolutely loved the backyard. We came to enjoy our days off, relax, and do some gambling. Only a short 10 minutes from Choctaw and extremely close to the lake. The backyard was where we spent most of our time at the house. The trees were perfect shade and it’s a nice clean backyard for our pup ❤️

Great value! Pool is beautiful, we had a ton of fun in the clubhouse. Very well planned tiny cabin, didn’t feel crowded even though it really is tiny :) very responsive host and property manager. We are already planning our next trip back.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at Sarah’s beautiful property. This is a gorgeous place with peaceful and private surroundings. Private gate makes you feel safe and secure. Very comfortable and spacious, perfect for family get togethers like ours. Everything you need to relax and enjoy. Bells is a small town but you’ll find anything you need close by. Just a short drive into Sherman/Denison or to Bonham. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Absolutely beautiful surroundings and views at all times. Peaceful and quiet with very nice patio setup for dinner and lounging living room to spend time with games and shows.

This was a great little place for a quiet and private getaway. Excellent furnishings, private dock, fire pit, great patio. Internet is very spotty, but we were there for R&R so it was great that my husband and son couldn’t bury their faces in electronics. DVD library, puzzles, games kept us busy.

Very peaceful property. Nice sized house with four bathrooms! Big kitchen. Pool area is the best! We live almost 4hrs away and needed to be up near the area for my son’s graduation. Everyone enjoyed hanging out in the pool and in the pool hut area. It was even accommodating to my 85 yr old grandmother in a wheelchair (through the garage entry and a large hallways bathroom that fits a wheelchair. The dogs loved hanging out and looking at the cows in the pastures. Definitely recommended!

This place was AMAZING!! Clean! Clean! Clean! The house was so beautiful and decorated so cute! We loved all the extra little touches Vicky did for us! We felt so comfortable and so at home!! Loved the house and loved the owner! She was just amazing! Anytime we had a question she he was always quick to respond! Can’t say enough good things about this place! Did not want to leave, wish I owned this as my personal home. Cabin had everything we could possibly need right down to games. The area is great as we felt undisturbed by anyone and we easily found places to hike the woods and go to the lake. everything was spotless, wifi, hot water, temperature control all worked perfectly. Checking in and out could not have been easier. The fire pit was phenomenal, the biggest we have come across and it was so nice on a cold night. Funny enough I think one of my favorite things was the back porch looking into the trees where my daughter and I had coffee each morning, it felt special for us. The perfect get away.

The space was super cute and has a great outdoor porch was lovely! Quick ride to the casino! The host was very responsive and easy going, we would recommend to everyone!

We enjoy every second in the Little Getaway, was super cozy, had everything we need, it looks like the photos, and many places around to have some fun. I recommend the Little Getaway 100%

Studio was very nice, neat and clean. I've never been to an AIRBNB that had everything from dishes, pots, pans, blankets, wash towels, fire pit, big screen TVs (2), gas stove (better for cooking), excellent lighting, privacy fence with automatic opening and closing, and a huge beautiful island in the kitchen. Place was so beautiful and private. Called the host after I got lost and he responded right away and guided me there. He was very kind and patient. Only one thing that may not be pleasing to others who stay here. Several cats on the property, but they were friendly as could be. Most were kittens. It was night when I arrived, so they scared me. We took several photos and they were in every photo we took outside. My nephew wanted to edited them out the picture but I wouldn't let him, they were so cute posing for the photos. Lit the fire pit so we could roast marshmallows and they got in the chairs as if they were part of the family. Enjoyed my stay here. Worth every dime

It’s a small cabin in a very secluded area but served our purpose extremely well. Andy was very nice and reached out to make sure everything was okay. It’s a little tricky to find as the map point was not exact but they sent a picture of the gate which made it easier.
