A great beautiful apartment, especially for Surinamese standards. Fully equipped. Kitchen with everything on and off, so you can also cook for yourself if you want. Which we've done a number of times as well. Neat bathroom with a washing machine. In sleeping areas air conditioning. And in the garden a swimming pool. Actually everything you need for a wonderful stay in Paramaribo. The house consists of three parts, a large apartment upstairs, and an apartment of the manager and the apartment which we rented. The manager lives there with his wife and daughter and his most friendly people. Very special is the dog, Nala. When you walk a bit, she walks with you. If other dogs come in the neighborhood that are literally slacked. Nala has set a goal to protect Skimpy guests. It is recommended to rent a car. Given the location, it gives you some more freedom of movement. All in all had a nice vacation here.

I had booked for 2 weeks first, we liked it and therefore we extended it.

Clean home, bathroom was clogged. Wifi went out and was resolved as soon as possible. Unfortunately, there was some damage to a TV, but we also communicated neatly about that. I thought it was already there, but good s**t happens and that should not spoil your stay. Very flexible Host.

Great location. Very spacious with all the necessities. Pool was a hit with the kids. Keep in mind it was pretty easy to go over the included electricity. However, we would definitely stay here again.

Lined at the address with two friends. There are three bedrooms with ample privacy and air conditioning. The apartment matches the photos and is pleasant with private parking under the house. Nearby stores and safe area for a walk. Contact with Audrey and the manager was flawless and pleasant. Well worthwhile.

We were first kindly welcomed by the park security and this one showed us the house where we needed to be. There was Indra's husband to welcome us. He gave us a short tour of the house. Key and garage badge were handed over. It was a beautiful house exactly as the pictures on the site also showed. A great space for the 3 of us. Indra's husband gave us a few more tips for restaurants in the area and a few supermarkets where we could make the first purchases. You do need a car to get around. The park is secured which gives you a safe feeling. The average time for a ride to Paramaribo via the high bridge is about 25 minutes, which is easy to do. We had a great time and saw a lot. Everything in the house was fine. We did our best to leave the house as we found it on our 1st day. All in all, these were very nice days.

If you are looking for peace, a beautiful green environment and a good host who will show you the way (should you need it) then this is definitely recommended. Commewijne is by far my favorite place to stay in Suriname, and especially Jagtlust. It's really beautifully green. If you want to go to the city center... you will be there in no time (20/30 min drive). What makes the stay (and the location) so special is that there are monkeys (and many more exotic animals). Very impressive. In short, highly recommended!!

My stay was pleasant! A good location if you want food places nearby. Furthermore, the house was neat and equipped with everything! I'd like to come back!

I had a pleasant stay that I will gladly repeat. Thanks to my host for hosting us and for her kindness. Very available, he was able to respond to each of my requests.

The place and surrounding is clean, safe and looks exactly as the photos posted. The kitchen is almost complete which will allow you to cook your own meals. All the amenities listed functioned well during my stay. They have washer with only spin dryer, which is fine because they provided a clothes rack inside the room and clothesline outside (my clothes dried well overnight even inside my room). They also have a once a week cleaning services for free, which i really appreciate. But you’ll need to get your own trash bag replacement. There can be some mosquitoes inside the room so consider bringing an insect repellent. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and will definitely book this place again in my next visit.

Perfect location if you want to explore Paramaribo. The apartment is well kept and cozy. Everything is just as advertised, will definitely stay again when I return.

Extremely good price-quality ratio. The apartment is in a quiet, secure neighborhood. By taxi or private transport you are quickly in the city center. The house is luxurious, spacious and very comfortable due to all amenities.

What a great stay! There were groceries & a breakfast spot in close walking distance & M was very responsive and friendly, I’ll definitely return when I come back to Suriname.

Jacintha was very friendly and helpful especially when offering guidance on navigating the local landscape. It was noted that works have been done to improve the place and more works planned to increase comfort for anyone staying even with all of this the stay was comfortable I felt like I was home.

The accommodation was beautiful and clean. We enjoyed the pool and the beds were very soft. The air conditioning in the rooms are also really great and do it excellently. Communication with the host was very good, she responded quickly and was very friendly. We have not been bothered by the fact that they stayed upstairs. Nothing else to criticize. A great stay!!
