Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Suriname

Clea and Mitchel are great hosts. They are very easygoing, respectful, help a lot in unexpected situations. They are very kind. The place is amazing, very close to amazon jungle, the area is calm, quiet, you can walk a lot. you can count on them with shuttle help to airport. I wanna go back one day.

If you are looking for peace, a beautiful green environment and a good host who will show you the way (should you need it) then this is definitely recommended. Commewijne is by far my favorite place to stay in Suriname, and especially Jagtlust. It's really beautifully green. If you want to go to the city center... you will be there in no time (20/30 min drive). What makes the stay (and the location) so special is that there are monkeys (and many more exotic animals). Very impressive. In short, highly recommended!!

We were first kindly welcomed by the park security and this one showed us the house where we needed to be. There was Indra's husband to welcome us. He gave us a short tour of the house. Key and garage badge were handed over. It was a beautiful house exactly as the pictures on the site also showed. A great space for the 3 of us. Indra's husband gave us a few more tips for restaurants in the area and a few supermarkets where we could make the first purchases. You do need a car to get around. The park is secured which gives you a safe feeling. The average time for a ride to Paramaribo via the high bridge is about 25 minutes, which is easy to do. We had a great time and saw a lot. Everything in the house was fine. We did our best to leave the house as we found it on our 1st day. All in all, these were very nice days.

We are very happy to have rented Anita's apartment. We were there for my father's farewell. I stayed there with my sisters and our children. It was a resting place in all the chaos. We really needed that. When we left, one of our children forgot his passport. And Anita acted quickly and had the passport delivered to the airport as soon as possible. I am very grateful for the good care!

My stay was pleasant! A good location if you want food places nearby. Furthermore, the house was neat and equipped with everything! I'd like to come back!

The past few days in this villa stayed and all together I give it a 10. The location Commewijne, and in particular Palm Village, is great. Palm Village is very beautiful green and you will completely relax there. This villa is located on the pond, and that completes it. It's really beautiful. Furthermore, upon entering the villa, I noticed that everything is super clean and tidy. In terms of location: it is 20 to 30 minutes drive to the city center and this is very easy to do. This is definitely a place I'll come back to!

Communication was top notch. Host also gave recommendations about the neighborhood. House is very spacious and quiet area. My family enjoyed very much. Thank you so much!

I spent 6 weeks in Gersom's apartment. It's spacious and comfortable. The highlight of the apartment is definitely the gym. The A/C is a lifesaver. Gersom & Joyce were fantastic. They gave great advice, handled issues quickly, & made sure I enjoyed my stay. The one con is that mosquitoes get inside, but the bed net helps immensely. • Internet/WiFi Speeds: Good (27d/10u), despite the lower speeds, my streaming, downloading, & work video calls were much faster than expected • Workspace: 2 small desks, a comfortable desk chair would help immensely • Bed: very comfortable, slept very well thanks to the mosquito net & A/C • Kitchen: very nice w/ decent cookware, good appliances, & a rice cooker! • Water: pressure is the BEST I've had in Latin America, temp is steady • Food/grocery: 2 medium-sized supermarkets within 5-10 min walk, no trouble ordering delivery w/ the Ride Eats app as not a lot of restaurants right nearby • Neighborhood: very quiet other than barking dogs, minimal sidewalks

Perfect location if you want to explore Paramaribo. The apartment is well kept and cozy. Everything is just as advertised, will definitely stay again when I return.

I had a wonderful stay at M’s place! The apartment was clean and spacious for two, making it feel very welcoming and comfortable. The space was well-equipped with all the essentials I needed. The location was fantastic—close to major attractions and convenient public transportation, which made exploring the city so easy. (Renting a car would be recommended). What really stood out was M's hospitality. She was very responsive and provided helpful local tips that enhanced my experience. The communication was seamless from booking to checkout. Overall, this was a perfect home away from home. I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting the area and would happily stay here again on my next trip!

My stay at Jeroen’s place was great. The flat was very comfortable. I asked for a few random things at times during my stay and within a very very short space of time he arranged everything. I highly recommend staying here if you have the opportunity.

Extremely good price-quality ratio. The apartment is in a quiet, secure neighborhood. By taxi or private transport you are quickly in the city center. The house is luxurious, spacious and very comfortable due to all amenities.

What a great stay! There were groceries & a breakfast spot in close walking distance & M was very responsive and friendly, I’ll definitely return when I come back to Suriname.

Jacintha was very friendly and helpful especially when offering guidance on navigating the local landscape. It was noted that works have been done to improve the place and more works planned to increase comfort for anyone staying even with all of this the stay was comfortable I felt like I was home.

The accommodation was beautiful and clean. We enjoyed the pool and the beds were very soft. The air conditioning in the rooms are also really great and do it excellently. Communication with the host was very good, she responded quickly and was very friendly. We have not been bothered by the fact that they stayed upstairs. Nothing else to criticize. A great stay!!
