Beachfront vacation rentals in Blato

It's a charming and secluded place with one of the best views we've ever had. The terrace at the house is wonderful for breakfast or a barbecue. The jetty by the sea gets plenty of sun in the afternoon and evening, but there is also enough shade provided by the pine trees. The house is a 20mins walk away from the village, and in May the roadside was full with wildflowers. Keep in mind that Sobra is a very quiet place, and the house is even more remote. You have to like that, but we did.

The house and the nature around are otherworldly. The house is situated far from any civilization, and we've barely seen any neighbors during our stay, so it's perfect for people tired of the big city. But please note that you need a car in order to move around, since the house is 5 km from the nearest civilization. The house itself has everything you might need in terms of utensils and equipment, but is solar-powered, thus heavy electronics will wear the battery down fast. We were fine with 2 phones and 1 laptop, but it also depends on how sunny it gets during your stay. As to getting there, you also need to plan your trip around the ferry schedule, cause it's the main way to get from the island to the mainland. Zlatko is a great person, helped us get there, and left some treats for us. Totally recommend the experience.

The other reviews are totally accurate. Marinas place was magical. It was the best trip we’ve ever been on and it was the first with our 18 mo daughter. Marina gave us her milk for our baby! Marina was extremely friendly, funny, and had perfect communication. She did our laundry for us too!! (She even removed a tough stain from our baby’s shirt!!). We could not have asked for a better vacation or a better host.

A truly idyllic place to unwind. We had a lovely week of swimming, kayaking and relaxing away from people (the property can only be accessed by boat so it is very peaceful and quiet). The host was very communicative - we can definitely recommend and would love to return to this unique property again!!

We enjoyed our time spent in Karbuni, our host at the apartment Mrs. Snjezana was very welcoming and friendly, showed us around the apartment, showed us the beach part that comes with it (which by the way has several sunbeds and sunshades). She even invited us for coffee and gave us tips where to find things around the area. The apartment was comfortable and spacious, it had everything we needed during our time there. We especially loved the huge balcony with a panoramic view of the sea. The village is quiet and very safe, and the nearest town Vela Luka is 10 minutes away by car so grocery shopping wasnt an issue at all. All in all, we would very much like to visit again in the future!

We had an amazing six day vacation and would highly recomend for persons who enjoy being close to nature. Accomodation is basic but adequate, food excellent and hosts very polite and heartful. The island is beautiful and peaceful, the surounding waters pristine. We enjoyed long open water swims along the island shores, wetsuits made it very comfortable on the first week of June.

Mediterranean as it once was. Stunting views, a staircase away from the sea (a stone/concrete beach, not quite safe for kids under the teen age, but the decent public beach is within 3 minutes walk), a terrace that you'll spend the most of your time on, a friendly owner. Impressively clean. Lots of potential. Could be challenging unless you have your own transportation. Parking under the fabric shade is included. You may want to know that the place only offers the very basic infrastructure. The TV set with satellite dish (no antenna for the domestic free-to-air channels), wifi router (the spead is weak) and the AC unit are likely only devices/utilities/utensils newer than 20 years. No toaster, coffee maker of any kind, water kettle and dishwasher. Also, note that the terrace overlooks the ferry port and the entrance to the port with the intensive marine traffic: you'll love watching the ferries doing the U-turns just in front of you, but expect the strong engine rumble.

We had a great stay here! The view is so beautiful, and looks exactly like the pictures. The host was very friendly and responsive! We also had a car park which was awesome, I definitely would recommend.

Ivan is an extraordinary host with an amazing property. It didn't matter what we asked for or needed help with, Ivan went above and beyond to serve our needs. His home is an impeccable oasis, right on the Adriatic. We rearranged our itinerary, to stay here and are so glad we did. If you're even considering coming to the area, you need to stay here!

A beautiful apartment in a peaceful location. Everything is spotless and well maintained. Nick is so friendly and helpful including a lift to the supermarket on arrival. A good sized clean pool with comfortable sun loungers set in landscaped gardens which are loving tended. All the beds and chairs are comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The views are stunning - breakfast on the balcony watching dolphins out at sea. A top class apartment that we hope to revisit - thank you Nick and family for making us feel so welcome in your home.

We had a fantastic week staying in the Penthouse! The views are incredible. The apartment was beautiful and is immaculately clean. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Toni was a fantastic host, very welcoming and even let us check in early. He was very responsive if you had any queries. Thanks Toni for a great week!

The villa is fantastic and the local area is quiet but has enough restaurants and bars to keep you busy. Getting in and out of Split is easy and Uber is very good value (do not use local taxis). The standout feature of the property is the outside area including the views. It is easy to access the sea and beach, and the water is beautiful. The only potential to the villa is how it is split across two properties. This was not an issue for us at all, and for some people this may be a bonus, but worth noting.

We were a group of 9 people. The location is fantastic. Very quiet and you can go directly from the villa to the sea. The house was very clean and looked as pictured. The kitchen in the house and also the outdoor kitchen were well equipped and had everything you need. We thought the grill and the pizza oven were great. The house is a bit out of the way. There are no restaurants nearby. However, there are plenty of shopping opportunities and they are easily accessible by car. The house is perfect for relaxing vacations.

Everything about the house was great. However all local restaurants and bars that were walkable were shut until next year which we didn't expect. Also although their websites say the are open many supermarkets were shut on the Sunday - had we known in advance we would have bought more on the Saturday. These things aside - the house was lovely, clean and everything we wanted.

Our family had a wonderful time at Tanja’s home! With 5 adults and 2 kids under 7, we felt comfortable. The view from the bedrooms and pool were stunning and the pool was perfect! The house is located on the main road but is set up on a hill with lots of steps. We enjoyed exploring the area. There is a walking path just across the street and down the stairs and another up the road where you can park and walk down. A must do for beautiful rock beaches! We explored Gradac which was a short drive up the road - pizza take out, ice cream, a giant swing on the beach, and dinner outside on the water. There is also a Plodines (grocery store) just up the street. The house is about half way between Dubrovnik and Split - just under 2 hrs each way which was perfect for exploring. I suggest checking out Makarska (Riva Resturant!) when heading towards split and Mali Ston (Kapetanova kuća) when heading towards Dubrovnik. Tanja was extremely helpful and such a wonderful host!

Villa Vito is in a beautiful setting with views over a secluded bay, and surrounded by olive groves. The outside space is thoughtfully designed to create a really peaceful and lovely area. We were there in the penultimate week of May and were very unlucky with the weather. Rain, high winds and chilly nights, although we did have some intermittent sunshine. We used the pool and swam in the sea. Overall we felt that the villa will work really well in better weather, when the outside space will really come into its own and evenings can be spent around the table by the pool, and making use of the outside sofa area. Inside, the downstairs space is rather limited, especially when confined by the weather as it is just an open plan kitchen with a sofa area at one end. It was fine for two but we felt it might be a bit 'tight' for a group of six. Ambroz was a very responsive and helpful host, especially when we had trouble with the door and the hot water, quickly sorting things out for us.

We spent an incredible 6 nights here. The views are out of this world. We loved the easy access to Sveta Nedilja's small but beautiful beach just below the house. The property has so many options for outside seating and lounging, and every corner is as beautiful as the next. We also loved the local restaurant, a 2 minute walk away! Marija is a wonderful, warm and kind host who made us feel so welcome. We cannot recommend this place highly enough!

Exactly what we were hoping for. Relaxing, comfortable and private, surrounded by nature and few steps from the beautiful Adriatic. Grano was a wonderful host, warm, kind and super easy to communicate with. Thank you, Grano!

I cannot say enough about this Home. We felt like we were in a palace. Every little touch that they put into this house went noticed. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Our host was always available if I had a question.The pizzeria next-door was amazing and would bring things right to us at our door. Again, we cannot say enough everything about this house was wonderful.

Marina’s place was a joy to stay. It is right on the beach and very convenient walking town. Marina was super friendly. The location of the house is wonderful but you need a car if you want to go to other parts of the island. Very peaceful place with a beautiful balcony to catch the starry nights. We also took a bottle of olive oil from her family’s farm and we are excited to try it. We will for sure want to return back. Don’t think twice before booking.

Dragana's apartment is STUNNING and so much more than we had imagined! The balcony is so peaceful and we were so in love with the beautiful and thoughtful design of the apartment. There is a lovely beach right across the street from the apartment and so many great restaurants and cafes within walking distance. The bed was extremely comfortable and the entire space was so relaxing. A big bonus for us was the washing machine since we were traveling for two weeks with only a few pairs of clothes. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed. Dragana is so sweet and friendly—by the end of our stay, she felt more like a friend to us than an Airbnb host. She had wonderful recommendations of what to see and do while staying in her home of Komiza. Everything was so perfect and we could not have asked for more. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay, Dragana, and we hope to see you again in the future!!

Antonija's place was amazing. Beautifull ocean views and a small beach nearby where you can rent kayaks, SUPs and boats. The perfect spot for a peaceful getaway at this gorgeous island. Host Antonija was everything you could wish for. An enthusiastic person with a big heart for her guests. She gave us a lot of information about the island and its places and traditions. We would definitely recommend staying here and will hopefully find our way back to this place in the future.

We spent 2 weeks at Antonia’s house. The house and Antonia’s hospitality are exceptional. We felt taken care of throughout the whole period: not only the checkin process was smooth and flexible, Antonia was always available to sort out any issues we had. The house is spacious and tastfully decorated and the sea is magnificent. The kitchen is separated from the main part of the house. We made great use of the bikes, kayak and SUP boards that were provided to explore the surroundings. The only disadvantage that I can think of is that there is only 1 AC unit, this is compensated my modern ceiling fans that are in each room. We had a great time in Korcula, thank you, Antonia!

If you’re looking to have a peaceful and rustic vacation away from the crowd, then this place is definitely for you. We loved waking up to the sounds of sea, birds and insects and having the whole place (+beach) to ourselves. There are two more buildings on the land, but we never saw anyone go in or out. There’s no A/C in the house but we didn’t really need it because it wasn’t that hot at night. Also, there were insects inside the bedroom no matter how careful we were with closing doors, pulling nets etc. - so just be aware you’ll always have company when sleeping. In case you cook - just note the kitchen only offers cookery and detergent (no salt, oil, condiments etc). FYI: there’s a cute blue-eyed cat which paid us a few visits during our stay - please consider feeding it or at least leaving a bowl of water, she always drank the whole thing:)
