Monthly Rentals in Blacketts Lake

We Just returned from spending the last 2 months at Susan's place. Susan was kind enough to open up some of her own personal blocked dates so we could extend our stay and we truly thank her for that. We were so sad to have to leave as it felt like home. The wonderful view of the lake from the window as I worked remotely. The beautiful view from the deck and of course while chilling on the dock. Internet worked great for all needs whether working remotely, teams and internet calls, vpn or streaming tv whether you were hard wired or on wireless. There is only one neighbor you can actually see, and they were very friendly and quiet. When the weather turned cold the furnace is a beast and heats up the house in minutes. Such a beautiful location, in the middle of nowhere but 15 minutes to the city, you can't ask for better. This place is a GEM!

What a wonderful place to stay! Sarah was very responsive to messages which was awesome as I did have some issues getting into the cabin but figured it out with her help. She checked up to see if we needed anything throughout or stay which was greatly appreciated. I have a toddler and the pack n play and high chair was a life saver since we didn’t need to bring those items with us. The in unit washer and dryer that we had access to was a wonderful addition since we all know how messy a toddler can be. There is enough room in the living room for my toddler to burn off some energy and the backyard is also a great feature. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling with a young family. If we go back to Cape Breton we will definitely be checking to see if this place is available again to stay at.
