Private stand-alone cottage on a beautiful farm 1.5 hours north of Cape town and 30-40 minutes from Elands Bay. This is a very simple, off-grid, self-catering cottage with beautiful mountain views, a dam to swim in and hiking access to the entire 2000 hectare farm. The farm has established hiking and mountain biking trails, horse riding on request and established sport and trad rock climbing routes. The cottage has two fireplaces, a gas stove, fridge, a 'donkey' water heater and solar power.

The living area features a stone fireplace and large open doors offering panoramic views of the beach and ocean. A cozy seating arrangement with wicker chairs is situated near a wooden dining table, while vibrant plants and coastal landscaping are visible outside.

J’aime la Mer offers up to 2 guests (no children under 7 years) the opportunity to stay right on the beach in Paternoster. This ideally situated free standing cottage offers the best views of endless beaches. Not even a road in front of the cottage. There may be building activity taking place across the road to the back of the cottage. Back up batteries during power failures for lights, TV, Wi-Fi. Crayfish abalone not allowed on the premises.
