Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Berat County

We stayed at An's place for 3 nights. The hosts are super lovely (even though they don't speak English). They gave us flowers, oranges and homemade jam from the garden☺️. It's a spacious home, garden is beautiful and peaceful. It's just a short walk to the centre. Thanks again for having us.

This apartment was sparkling clean, well organized and in a great location! LOVED the family restaurant next door. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Berat!

An experience! In a historic house in the middle of the old town of Berat. Grandiose view from the balcony! One bedroom has only a skylight (cannot be opened or darkened). Parking is best in the supermarket underground car park (€8/day), from there it is about a 5-7 min walk. Dori welcomed us and brought us closer to the history of the house. There were also tips for the surrounding area. We really enjoyed it!

Amazing location in the heart of the citadel. The garden is really very pleasant and the view from the windows was superb. Small downside with the very noisy water distribution system that can make living with several people complicated.

Just one night at Flora and Hector's left a vivid impression in my memory! These amazing people can create an atmosphere in a few hours that others cannot replicate in a week. From the first minute, we felt sincere hospitality. Flora immediately treated us to drinks and dessert, and after that, Hector happily showed us around. In the evening, an incredibly delicious homemade dinner from their garden was waiting for us. Each spoon conveyed the care and warmth of the host's hands! Among other things, Hector and Flora are wonderful conversationalists. And even though we spoke different languages, we often understood each other without an interpreter. Their hospitality is so natural that by morning we felt not like guests, but like their relatives! And although our visit was short, the impressions remained the warmest. Cleanliness, comfortable bed, quiet village night and roosters in the morning - everything turned into a perfect picture of real Albania. We are incredibly grateful to them for a drop of home comfort in our journey!

We received a warm welcome from Bruna. The apartment is under her house so she is always around to help you. Very nice communication. Spacious and clean apartment with comfortable beds, clean kitchen and bathroom. As an extra, this apartment has a washing machine! Easy free private parking, supermarkets around the corner. We drove by car to old town/castle/Gorice in 5 minutes, but you can also easily walk. We certainly recommend this apartment!

We stayed for a month at Renato’s place and we found here everything we needed. The apartment was very clean and had all the essential you could need. We really enjoyed the balcony with an amazing view especially during sunsets. However, there are some things to mention. The bed is a bit squeaky so if you are moving a lot during sleep it could wake you up. Also, in neighbourhood there is a dog that barked very aggressively every night so that we needed to use earplugs. It seemed that nobody else was concerned by the dog behaviour. The location was perfect for us since we could have nice 10 minute walk to the city centre. In vicinity there are shops like Elsea and Big market and local bakery Dimali, which was superb.

Astrit’s place in Berat was the perfect blend of comfort and tradition. The hospitality was incredible, the views breathtaking, and it truly felt like a home away from home. I’m grateful for the unforgettable experience!

Jonida's apartment was in a nutshell: very good! In the immediate vicinity there was a well-stocked supermarket, a bakery and some cafés/bars that are mainly visited by the residents in the area. The center of Berat was a good 10 minutes' walk away. We can recommend Jonida's apartment without reservation!!!

amazing apartment at the top of the building. furniture, appliances, bedding, everything was great. the big bathroom is especially nice Manjola was extremely helpful and responsive, she even helped us get medicine for one of our friends who was ill. special mention for the private parking spot as it would have been very difficult to park around the apartment without it 10/10 recommend!!

Najda's apartment was stunningly beautiful. So spacious and spotlessly clean. It has an amazing location and right next to the happening part of the town but still away from all the noise. Also a beautiful balcony. Communication was absolutely prompt with clear instructions. One of the best places to stay in the town

I booked for one night to visit Berat during the day. The location is great in a quiet area and the center is within walking distance. There are many good restaurants just behind the house. Within walking distance, you can visit the beautiful Berat. The apartment is modern, very clean and the bedroom is really beautiful with a very comfortable bed! Our host was nice and helpful. I had an absolutely wonderful experience staying at Ona’s place! From the moment I booked, she was incredibly friendly and quick to respond to all my questions. She was always just a message away, and her responses were lightning-fast. The property was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and thoughtfully prepared for guests. And it is right in the heart of city close to the town and i would recommend it for sure.

Staying in this apartment was an amazing experience. Elona and her parents were incredibly friendly and welcoming - some of the best hosts we’ve ever encountered on Airbnb. Their hospitality was outstanding, and they made us feel right at home. The apartment itself was immaculate - everything was super clean and well-maintained. Getting there was also straightforward. From Tirana, you can take a bus to Berat from the South and North Bus Terminal in the north of the city. Bus line 5/B from the city center will get you there easily. The buses run regularly, and the trip takes about 2 hours. Once in Berat, it’s a short city bus ride to Elona’s place. Overall, this was one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve had. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was spotless and nicely decorated, we immediately felt at home. The room is the perfect size with all the amenities you need. You can walk straight up the hill to get to the castle, or 10 minutes around the corner to reach a lot of the shops and restaurants. Our hosts were lovely and flexible with check-in.

Great place, we liked our stay both in the flat and in Berat

We were very warmly welcomed with fresh fruit and felt comfortable right away! The view, the many flowers, the cleanliness... everything great! You can walk from there very relaxed to the fortress and from there you have a great view. We highly recommend the accommodation and thank you 😊

Was exactly as described. Just know that it’s on the 4th floor and there’s no elevator- not a problem for us but might be for someone else! The AC unit is only in the master bedroom- again was not an issue for us. The dad picked us up from the terminal free of charge. The parents sell fruits/vegetables at the bottom of building, they were always offering coffee. They are sweet. Super clean 15-18 minutes walk to the bridge Host was super responsive, helped us with all the local things to do / transport I would recommend a stay
