Our stay in Big Bear was fantastic, the house had everything we needed and then some. Great attention to detail and small touches to make you feel at home. So many games and activities for our kids, they didn’t want to leave. Kirsten was very responsive and flexible. We can’t wait to come back and have already told our family and friends about this amazing gem!

This was the perfect spot! Joseph’s place was spotless and had a great JT design esthetic. Perfect for a couples getaway. We even had a roadrunner greet us on the porch on our last morning.

Kurt’s cabin is lovely — an amazing hideaway that feels very private, with amazing views of Joshua Tree. At the same time, it’s super conveniently located and whatever you might need - groceries, restaurants, sightseeing - is in driving distance. Kurt is an attentive, friendly, and helpful host. I would have communicated with him more, but everything about my stay was so smooth I didn’t need to! I will definitely be back again. A great place to stay when visiting Joshua Tree.

Such a relaxing environment! And when we wanted to be active, hiking trails abound - our favorite was the Ernie Maxwell Scenic Trail. I especially enjoyed having my morning coffee outdoors. Many birds, especially woodpeckers, were active. Sunset over the San Bernardino Forest is marvelous! The plants along the walkway to the hot tub reveal intentionality and a desire to make the entire property unique. The gentle breeze and cool temperatures enhance the experience! Our family loved staying in the little A Frame! Lots of homey touches & natural decor that was practical and yet beautiful. The town is walkable from the home. Very peaceful location! Host is very responsive. (People with mobility issues would have a hard time with the stairs).

We had a great stay and Leafe was super helpful with local recommendations! The house was very peaceful and private. We would definitely recommend staying here to anyone visiting Joshua Tree!

I absolutely loved my stay at the cabin! The space was serene, stylish and thoughtfully curated which was just the kind of energy I needed. Everything aligned with rest and restoration! The place was spotless, the bed was super comfy, and the outdoor space was a beautiful bonus. I appreciated the attention to detail and clear communication.

This is our 3rd or 4th time here- we just love this Airbnb, truly our favorite! Our doodles have such a big enclosed yard to play- with trees and lots of wildlife all around us. And the prefect view of the Tahquitz rock too! I don’t even look for other Airbnbs anymore in Idyllwild- I just message Ariya and book☺️. The home is always clean with everything we need for cooking and relaxing. I always appreciate the assorted teas from their store as well. This time, we made sure we took advantage of the hot tub after a hike and a run. The bathrobes are always appreciated and even helpful when it got a little chilly at night. Ernie Maxwell trail is just over a mile from the house and my big dog and I hiked/ran there twice- such a beautiful place to take your dog(s). Ariya and Marc are such perfect hosts- always communicating and ensuring we are enjoying our stay. I also appreciated it when Ariya messaged me that I could check in early. Thanks again Ariya! We loved our stay! My partner and I came here to escape the city life and find some peaceful surroundings, and Danny’s home was just that. This particular neighborhood was very quiet with minimal vehicular traffic yet, just a short 15-20 min drive into town. Our pup loooved the fully fenced backyard. Although we didn’t use much of the upstairs (so we could stay downstairs with our dog) we really appreciated the board games! Oh and! A fully stocked kitchen made cooking every meal so convenient.

Thomas was a wonderful host, and was kind enough to leave us a anniversary gift for me and my partner when we stayed. The tree house was beautiful very cozy, definitely give it a look!

I can’t say enough good things about this place! If you’re on the fence, DO IT! The lake is a 2 min walk from the house and it is gorgeous. Allie provides all the fun things you’d need to have a great day on the lake. The home is super clean, decorated beautifully, and had everything we needed. My favorite part was sitting out on the deck with the string lights on during sunset. Beds are amazingly comfortable, and it just felt like we were right at home. Highly recommend staying here, you’ll never want to leave!

Staying here was a unique and memorable experience! The place was exactly as described—peaceful, cozy, and surrounded by nature. You really feel completely secluded, which adds to the charm but can also feel a little spooky at times. But I’ll admit I’m a bit of a scaredy-cat when it comes to the dark, so that probably didn’t help! 😄 The howling of coyotes at night was mentioned in the description and that it just sounds close but is in fact probably miles away, but as Europeans we definitely underestimated how intense that can feel in person. Considering the relatively high cleaning fee, we found it a bit surprising that guests are still expected to take out the trash, do the dishes and put them away before checking out. All in all, we truly enjoyed the stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for a special, off-the-grid experience.

Looked exactly like the pictures, was a lovely and cute cabin! It was close by to shops, restaurants, etc. but far away enough to still have some privacy and quiet. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful stay, well appointed accommodations, comfortable sofa in the main room, lovely wood burning fireplace, and updated features like NEST climate control. Bathtub was fabulous and bathrooms were modern and squeaky clean! Great stay, would recommend.

This cabin was perfect! It had everything I needed and more. It is a bit of a ways away from the park and other amenities but because of that it is very quiet and serene. I’d definitely stay here again!

My husband and I with our dog, Lulu, spent a relaxing long weekend at Sarah’s place! The large living room window was the center piece to the house, and the second story deck was such a peaceful spot to eat meals, read, and listen to the birds. Lulu also gives the deck a 5 star rating for bird and squirrel watching!

We had an amazing stay at this cozy spot! My girlfriend and I spent two beautiful days here and absolutely loved it. The place had a great vibe we especially enjoyed the vinyl player with its awesome collection and the huge selection of board games. It made our evenings super fun and relaxing. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway in Big Bear!!
