The single bathroom has a shower and garden tub on the main level. Close to Mackinaw City/ Mullet Lake.

Pa's Retreat a Cozy Cottage for Fishing Families

Amazing fisherman's paradise. Burt lake access across the road & boat launch is just 1/2 mile away. Lots of parking. Lots of space inside to get ready for a day on the lake and for prepping family meals. This place is ideal for humble fishing families looking for a warm bed, hot shower, good meal, and a great time in the woods! We are off the beaten path, 15 minutes to town. Unfortunately, there is NO TV or WiFi, and cell service can be spotty. Perfect place to turn off electronics & get away!

This property has a shared access to Paradise Lake which is located at the intersection of Wheeling Road and Paradise Trail ( about a 2 minute walk from the cabin ). The cabin is also located directly across from the North Western State Trail, which is a hiking and biking trail in the summer and snowmobile trail in the winter.

Stephanie was a thoughtful host, easy to communicate and quick to respond. The apartment was equipped with everything you'd need and was so warm and cozy from the comfortable beds to the 'Franklin stove' gas heater. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The street was quiet and the grounds were lovely. It turned out that we had a personal connection to Stephanie and her husband which made our stay all the more amiable. I highly recommend staying at "Down the way from Duncan Bay'!

We had a wonderful stay at Nichol's RV on Mackinac Island! The place was very quiet, safe, and surprisingly spacious — perfect for a family. We even set up a tent outside the RV, which made the experience even more fun. It was our first time staying in an RV, and everything was just perfect. Nichol was very responsive and helpful whenever we had questions. Thank you so much for the amazing experience!

Wonderful and charming stone cottage, looks like something out of a fairy tale--both inside AND outside! So cozy and close to everything we wanted to do.
