A labor of love as my first home, I hope you get a slice of the serenity that comes with unplugging in this magical spot. If you’re lucky you’ll wake up to a moose or two in the pond.

First of all...We are a retired military couple with one of the longest running nightly rentals in this area! We try very hard to make sure you have a great stay, and we feel our 4.9+ Star rating shows that! Now for the Bristol Bay Cabin….. This 1 bedroom, 1 bath cabin is perfect for a couple! There is a fully furnished kitchen, a full bath, queen bed with closet in the bedroom and leather couch with USB ports , wifi TV, and wifi provided.

A contemporary shower area features white subway tiles with dark grout and a wood-paneled ceiling. A metal shelf holds toiletries, and a textured mat is placed on the floor. Fresh towels are displayed on a decorative rack near the entrance.

We are located on a forested acre. Our yurts are modern with most amenities included. We are located 8 minutes driving time north of Seward, and within walking distance, 8-10 minute walk to the lake or the Bear Lake trailhead, or the Salmon Weir, this is where the salmon come up the creek to spawn in Bear Lake. The Salmon are visible from May thru July.

Deanna was a very good communicator. Her place was lovely. It was very welcoming and homey. The bed was soo comfortable I didn’t want to rush out the door in the morning. The snacks were appreciated and the use of the freezer as well. We look forward to staying with Deanna and Max again when we head through. 😊😊

The photos don’t do it justice! As an Alaskan I’ve always wanted to try a treehouse and this place did not disappoint! The view from the treehouse (especially the amazing tub) were amazing! The walk we took along the lakefront was serene. We slept very comfortably on the kind sized bed (as Alaskans we’re used to sleeping with a fair bit of sun - but from those unaccustomed to this - Roland provides a lot of window coverings and it was quite dark at night). We enjoyed the entire space and especially Roland’s hospitality! Bonus: we got pets from their pets in the morning while seated on the swing structure! We will definitely return! This is why we Airbnb!
