Finavarra Lodge in New Quay - Flaggy Shore

SerenaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This is such a sweet spot. It is beautiful, quiet, peaceful and relaxing. The layout of the house is a bit unusual and it was pretty cool. It had nice space to chill outside. The neighboring field was full of young cows who were very curious and interested in us, and also pretty talkative. I really liked the loft room, which had a beautiful skylight. It was great to open it and take in the breeze and afternoon/twilight/evening sky. It is a pretty quiet area and not a lot of activities, aside from walking and swimming at the beach. On the weekend someone had a sauna set up by the beach and that was great. There is also a darling coffee shop down the way. The only thing I would have liked are more instructions on how to use appliances and heating. I'm not local and our systems are very different where I live! Caitriona was very responsive and helpful to me in figuring it out though!

Bequia Cottage Apartment

We had the best stay. Really could have stayed there forever. It’s such a perfect cottage, ideal for our needs. Such a lovely big garden with chickens at the bottom. It was just wonderful. Carmel & Ger are lovely, friendly & welcoming people. Carmel had a cake, jams & fresh eggs left for us. We will definitely be back. Absolutely perfect place. Our dog was made very welcome too.

Sea-Renity Cottage on The Cliff

Jean’s home was a bit of heaven. My husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary and this was the perfect spot. So much to do an hour’s drive in each direction. Spectacularly beautiful views. After long summer days exploring the area we loved coming back to have a drink in the back overlooking the bay and watching the sunset. I can’t rave enough at how fabulous this place is!! Thank you Jean for a lovely stay.

Dooneen House - a tranquil, waterfront escape

SusieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Perfect last leg on our first trip to Ireland. Loved this home tucked away in a private, natural setting. Fergus & Kay’a home is stunning (design and decor/art), practical, and comfortable. This was our favorite home away from home for this trip. It’s perfect for nature lovers—even when inside you feel connected to nature at every turn.

Boirinn Rua Burren getaway

A very nice, quiet, highly recommendable place. A perfect location for day trips in all directions, e.g. Galway, Cliffs of Moher, Hills of Connemara or for hikes close by in the Burren. The landlords take very well care of you. Everything is available, including a private veranda and a parking spot for the car. Thank you, Karen, for having us! The scones you made for us were delicious 😋

Nora was a great and friendly host. The cabin was clean and everything a small family needs, the fire is a lovely touch. Ideal location for walks to a beach and a short drive from an idyllic coastal town. All in all we had a great stay and would return no questions asked.

Adorable 1- bedroom flat at the Russell Gallery

AdamRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Lovely flat in a wonderfully peaceful location. Stefania was a great host and even popped some milk to us as we hadn't thought to bring any. Be sure to have an eye mask with you as some windows don't have curtains or blinds and so it gets light very early!

The Beekeepers: A secret Burren hideaway

KelvinRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Such a peaceful, serene and quiet hideaway in the captivating Burren countryside. This is a beautiful home that was comfortable, cozy, and lovely to return to everyday. Norma and Daithi were very easy to communicate with, and the eggs, cheese, bread and other food items were a thoughtful and kind welcome gesture. They responded to our questions and requests promptly which we appreciated very much. We would not hesitate to return here again!
