TV with DVD/Video/Stereo Quiet seaside setting .100 meters to safe swimming beach .Southend is central to great south east tourist attractions, such as the Coonawarra and Mt Benson wine regions, Volcanic crater lakes including the Blue Lake, Naracoorte Caves and diving caves. Close to other popular beaches such as Robe and Beachport. Southend is adjacent to the Canunda National Park for 4WD enthusiasts. Southend is perfect for fishing, sailing, swimming or just lazing on the beach. A surf beach is situated between Southend and Beachport. Southend has a small shop that is licensed and sells basic groceries. It has a takeaway fish and chip shop open weekends (6 days during summer).There is a local community club open weekends (open for meals in summer).Restaurants and other shopping is available in Beachport and Millicent, both a short drive away. We would like to stress this property is our own beach house. It is not resort standard accommodation. There isn't any air conditioning only fans and basic heating. Our pricing reflects this. It should be viewed as a comfortable base for exploring the area and other activities : fishing, boating, surfing and 4 wheel driving.

Lounge, kitchen/dining and bathroom are on the lower level with bedrooms upstairs. There is plenty of room for your boat too!

Absolutely loved our stay here! The minimalist boho vibes created a super calm and peaceful atmosphere. The spa was a highlight - perfect for unwinding. My nephew had a blast with the games chest, and the double showers were a game-changer. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the mod cons, making cooking for the family a breeze. The location is ideal, just a stone's throw from the township. We felt right at home and loved spending quality time with family. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway, I would stay again in a heart beat.

Perfect place for a Penola / Coonawarra visit. Caroline was a great host and the place was everything we needed for our stay. Great location and an overall super comfortable stay.

An outdoor deck features multiple steps leading up to a spacious area. Two plush swinging egg chairs hang from a white pergola. The deck is bordered by freshly laid grass, and large glass windows provide a view into the interior of the house.

This was the best place we have ever stayed as a group and are 100% going to be booking for same time next year. So spacious, warm and modern. Amy was so helpful in details and providing a cot and highchair for the little ones. Great location too, across for a lovely park that takes you straight to the Main Street. Thanks so much Amy!!
