John's Barn

KathyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
John’s Barn is a stunning light and spacious holiday home , beautifully designed and furnished , and set in a peaceful , green countryside setting with acres of woodland to explore . We loved the private and pretty garden , and the walk to the lake to feed the fish . Our grandchildren loved the trampoline and play area , and the tree swing in the garden . Bobbie is a warm and friendly host who respected our privacy - we really enjoyed meeting her . We enjoyed visiting Romsey, and loved exploring the New Forest and all it has to offer . We will be returning - something we rarely do !

Large private home with small lake and garden

GayeRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We as a family cannot convey in words how wonderful this house is. Down to the smallest detail., we had 3 generations of our family under one roof and so many laughs and giggles. As a family who have been coming to the new forest for 41 years this is undoubtedly the most homely and beautiful place we have stayed in.,. So much to do even in the rain. We will Definitely return in the future. Thanks so much to both of you . And the hot tub?’what a bonus😀😀😀😀

Cottage close to beaches and restaurants

PaigeRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Three of us and the dog stayed at David’s cottage and we had a wonderful time. The place was spotless when we entered, it was everything we needed. David was very communicative and helpful. We spent a lot of time in the garden as luckily the weather was in our favour and it was fenced in so the dog could run around with furniture for us to use. The cottage is in a perfect location, off of the main road so it was quiet and peaceful and just down the road from the sandbanks which we visited frequently. I highly recommend anyone interested in staying here I haven’t got a single fault! :)

Waterfront Lodge With Log Burner - Club Casita

AngelaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
What a wonderful find, location, location, location! The lodge is right on the river where you can watch the daily foray of boats, paddle boards, canoes and wildlife. The lodge itself was very clean with plenty of storage and cupboard space. Gorgeous outside space with strategically placed hammocks and chairs to watch the world go by. I had a massage in the spa which was wonderful and we all went in the sauna with its cold water pool, all on site, what an experience! Christchurch high street is 2 mins away with its many restaurants and shops. I would definitively recommend this Airbnb.

Newly Refurbished Cottage, Hot Tub, Games Rm, 8pax

FrancesRating, 5 stars7 months ago
A lovely, relaxing couple of nights stay. The Coach House has all you need, is warm and cosy and very comfortable. The beds are super comfy and the duvets really warm and cosy. The garden is very private and a lovely feature, and for anyone staying in warmer weather has everything you need to spend plenty of time outdoors. If you're looking to keep your steps up, try a walk round the lakes, lots of bird life, very interesting. The lighting system took a bit of getting used to but is very ambiant and well thought out. The kitchen has plenty of space so you can cook and chat. It would have been good if the oven had worked but we were told about this beforehand and provided with an airfryer so could work around this quite easily. The host was always quick to respond, kept in touch and made our stay very easy. I would recommend The Coach House for a very relaxing and comfortable stay. All the quirky little touches make The Coach House quite unique and we would definately return.

Luxurious newly refurbished family friendly lodge

DannyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We stayed here as a family to visit our extended family who live locally. Anthony welcomed us and was extremely pleasant and friendly, few tips on places to eat etc It is a lovely lodge tucked away in the countryside and only 10 minutes drive to the nearest town with all amenities that you could need. 25-30 minutes drive to Bournemouth. Lots of lovely country pubs in the surrounding areas. Spotlessly clean and perfect place to relax in between visits to family members. Would definitely stay here again if it’s available when visiting them again.

Modern riverside home ideal for beach and harbour

AmyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
My husband, son and I stayed at Chris and Clare’s place with another family of 3. We already knew the area and couldn’t have picked a better spot in terms of proximity. The sofa was huge which was lucky as we had terrible weather so it was great to lounge about on. The beds were also super comfy. We saw a family of swans swim by with their baby from the deck in the garden on our last day which was an extra treat. Chris and Claire were extremely accommodating with the requests we had. If you visit, we’d recommend The Noisy Lobster for lunch or dinner and also taking the little ferry across to Mudeford Spit for lunch and or drinks at the Beach House Cafe.

Lake View Studio, Wareham, Dorset "Forget-Me-Not"

JoeRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
An absolutely stunning little place right on the waters edge with brilliant walks, wildlife and Wareham on your doorstep. Jo & Jay were excellent hosts who went above and beyond to accommodate our first trip with our new baby and even upgraded us to a different cottage so we had more space. The breakfast basket was a lovely touch. The accommodation was spotless, cosy and has everything you need. And the view from the patio is just incredible.

Wild Rose dog friendly caravan Rockley & sea view

AndrewRating, 5 stars9 months ago
The caravan’a main living area felt much more spacious than we imagined and there was quite a good sea view. It was right by the amenities yet still quiet. Parking was a little tricky but we have a big car and you can always use the main car park which always had spaces and felt very safe. Lovely resort with friendly, helpful and professional staff.

SHOREBANKS - Harbour View Apartment in Sandbanks.

LauraRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Sheralee's apartment is in an absolutely perfect location for enjoying a holiday in Sandbanks. The views are so beautiful and peaceful of the harbour from the balcony, bedroom window and living room window. There was everything we needed in the Airbnb and we loved eating dinner on the balcony as well as at the dining table in the living room. Would highly recommend staying here and we would love to come back another time. So lovely that there is such easy access to both the harbour side (we did kayaking there) and the beach side through the Jazz Café entrance to the beach. Also, having the Tesco Express as part of the same building was really handy to buy food from!

Ecerything was exactly as described. Check in simple. Very clean and tidy. Location was spot on for what we needed. Managed to get both cars on the driveway and we were allowed to keep both cars on there after check-out whilst we did other activities. Communication was also very quick, highly recommended. Thank you

Lake View Studio Wareham, Dorset. "Buttercup"

SimonRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Fantastic accommodation. Magical location with views of the lake from the back so great to sit out on a sunny evening with the wading birds going about their business and other wildlife. The facilities were great. Nice little shower room. Plenty of homely touches with the owners providing eggs from their own chickens. The three units are in a block with plenty of parking at the front but the small rear gardens are separate and very private. Wareham Town Centre is about a 20 minute walk away on a flat, very quiet lane with hardly any traffic as it ends at the farm. Alternatively you can walk along the River Frome to Wareham Quay which is 2.5 miles and takes about an hour or along the Poole Harbour trail to the north which is about 1.5 miles and takes 40 minutes. Plenty to do and see in Wareham with its Saxon Walls, priory, quayside and plenty of good pubs and eateries. A real find and gem of a place and we are already planning to revisit next year. Thanks Jay and Jo for a lovely stay.

Beautiful Luxury Cottage in the New Forest

ChrisRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
What a stunning property, great amenities, private garden and the wider estate was beautiful. Sandra was there to greet us and always available with advise on where to eat locally etc. Sandra allowed us to roam around her gardens and lake, swans, ducks, geese and deer to be found. The two local pubs, both within 10 minute walk were warm and welcoming serving lovely food. The location on the very edge of the New Forest gave is great access to the area. We explored every day and found somewhere new. We would book here again for sure.

Estuary Cottage

FrankRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We stayed at the cottage during the week leading up to Easter and absolutely loved our time here. The surrounding landscape along the Yar estuary is so peaceful and full of wildlife, it made having a morning coffee beside the water, listening to all manner of birdsong, our favourite moment of the day. The Kings Manor grounds are gorgeous and we very much appreciated being able to play some tennis on the court by the main house. A welcome basket with goodies, friendly communication and a very uncomplicated check in/out, as well and all the wonderful places to visit on the island made this holiday truly a special experience for us. We would return in a heartbeat.

Lakeside Cottage - at Incombe Farm

StevenRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Janey's place was in a lovely, secluded corner of Compton Abbas that provided a true sense of peace and privacy in stunning surroundings, whilst remaining just a short car journey away from town. Our lovely hostess was extremely charming and her Airbnb was full of thoughtful, personal touches throughout the property that made us feel right at home. We could not recommend Janey enough and encourage anyone to consider staying at her place. It's truly one in a million with a beautiful boat accessible lake right on the doorstep and acres of land to explore. Steve & Anna

The Pink House at Lulworth, Dorset

SusanRating, 5 stars9 months ago
We had a brilliant stay at the Pink House! The house itself was beautifully decorated and was warm and inviting - we felt really at home here. Deborah was very friendly and responsive in her communication and sent us lots of local recommendations of things to do and places to visit. The garden was really private and we loved the built in BBQ and home-grown tomatoes and cucumbers, and the welcome basket that we're waiting for us when we arrived. The Pink House is in a great location with walks right from the front door and only 15-30 mins drive to the various beaches. We had a wonderful stay and wished we booked for longer - we'll definitely be back again!

Modern 2 bed detached Cottage near Salisbury

LeeRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Had a lovely three night stay at Lake Cottage. The surroundings are beautiful and our two dogs loved having the enclosed garden to play in. Morning walks around the lake were peaceful due to the secluded nature of the cottage. Would definitely recommend for others. The cottage itself is modern, clean and very well maintained.
