Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Barr

We felt very comfortable! Joëlle and her husband stopped by our place briefly upon arrival and everything was totally friendly and pleasant. Joëlle was always available for questions, etc. She gave us tips that a rayle was taking place in the village. The house was very clean, everything was there as discussed, the kitchen also well equipped. Even important emergency food supplies are already available. The garden is great with the small stream right by the house, our big child was busy and could play great. Without heating, it was a bit chilly at first, but the wood-burning fireplace quickly conjured up a great warmth. Only the rooms and beds are a bit small if you sleep with children as 2 families in it but that also worked and we knew about the bed size (140 cm) beforehand. And the bathroom is totally great, there were also enough towels for everyone. As well as even taps for the washing machine when we had to wash as an exception. The location is great, quiet Will come again any time ♥️

We were a family of seven and the house was perfect. Very spacious and extraordinarily beautiful. The surrounding area is just amazing nature with a lovely city a few minutes drive. Beautiful trails around and cute coffee shops and restaurants and supermarkets in the towns around. Everything in the house worked well and was top quality. Anne was very helpful and nice. We would love to come back❤️

Thank you to Nadège who was a more than friendly host from the first to the last exchange, really very nice, you can't do better. And for the apartment, the photos speak for themselves, and corresponded well to reality. Very well received with a few extra things available... Very clean, super comfortable bedding, from the mattress to the sheets and duvet covers. Great hot tub. And what served us well, a small booklet with some flyers to inform us of the small restaurants or fast food nearby for takeaway food! Nothing negative to say, thank you Nadège, we will recommend without hesitation 😊 We look forward to welcoming you!!!

Beautiful place to stay. We extended our stay by one night because we liked it so much. The host is super friendly and explains everything very well. The apartment was very clean and there is everything you need. The accommodation is not far from a S-Bahn station. We are looking forward to coming back soon.

Guillaume is a great host. The place is amazing and had everything we needed. It's very private and there are no neighbours, so it's perfect for a retreat. Guillaume showed and explained everything to us during check-in, so we felt right at home. It's a large but still comfortable place with lots of fun activities in and around the house. He even accommodated an early check-in and late check-out for us.

Marie-Claude is an outstanding host. We are 4 gravel friends who traveled the Alsace wine route for 4 days: here at the Gîte Rouge we were welcomed like kings, we were able to relax in a superb setting. Good discussions about Alsace, things to see, and also some good laughs with Francis (we say Franci in Alsatian😉), in short, the happy stopover at Marie-Claude's.

In short: you can't dream better! Myriam's hospitality is particularly remarkable. You feel welcome from the first moment in this beautiful cottage. The house is surrounded by greenery, in absolute quiet. You can only hear birds chirping. Be sure to try the homemade cheese; it is highly recommended. All nature lovers will find their happiness, at home as well as in the surroundings. When you return, you can enjoy the warm atmosphere of the house, where nothing is lacking. A recommendation without hesitation; you won't regret it.

We really enjoyed our stay at Adriens place. it is cozy and you have everything you need. Adrien is a very friendly and helpful host, with lots of tips regarding the area. If you are looking for a quiet getaway we can only recommend staying here! :)

A very nice apartment in a charming area. Everything was perfect: the welcome, Fabien's kindness, the cleanliness of the accommodation, the decor... A very nice welcome gift: we were spoiled!

Perfect stay! The apartment is spacious, clean, very well arranged and as described. It is very functional, there are all the necessary utensils and machines in perfect quantity and has all the necessary basic amenities. The property is perfect for families. There is a large yard, a covered outdoor area, a swimming pool as well as lots of outdoor games/toys. Jean and Samia are responsive and very kind. We enjoyed a tajine and a seasonal cake made by Samia. The apartment is conveniently located for different excursions. We 200% recommend this listing.

Loved our stay! Michel is very welcoming, accommodating, and we felt at home right away. We really enjoyed the pastries and baguette left at our door every morning, the essentials for breakfast in the fridge (butter, milk, apple juice, other drinks and even homemade jam!), and just Michel's kindness. He even helped me with my suitcase to go up and down the stairs☺️. The apartment itself is very cute and cozy. It's big and it was cool despite the fact that it was warmer than normal for April, which was great! Its location is ideal, on a quiet street but close to everything (restaurants, cafes etc.). I would say the only downside is really minimal: adjusting the shower water temperature takes some time. It quickly changes from hot to cold when you try to adjust it so you have to go slowly. We would highly recommend!!

My friend and I stayed at Geny et Richard's accommodation for 6 nights in late May. Our hosts were extremely friendly, thoughtful, and helpful. Geny had a lovely bottle of wine to welcome us and stocked our fridge for next day's breakfast (and more!) because of our late arrival. She even walked us to our restaurant on our first evening and gave us a lift to the train station one morning for an early excursion departure. The house was extremely spacious, well equipped, with lots of natural light, and even prettier than in the pictures. The small balcony on the landing and the garden were delightful. The neighbourhood was quiet and private, with good access to busses and only a 15-20 minute walk to Notre Dame Cathedral. The apartment might pose a challenge to people with limited mobility due to the number of stairs needed to reach both the first and second floors. But overall, a great spot to stay in Strasbourg. Thank you Geny et Richard for making our stay such an enjoyable one!

Nicole is a very warm host, open to all questions and gave very good tips for the area. The place was really nice and cozy, with a very nice balcony. We felt very comfortable!

A lovely AirBnB that had everything we needed for two nights with our two kids. Daniela was super helpful and friendly and the location was great - there even happened to be a festival up the street on the evening we arrived! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

My husband and I had a great stay at the apartment together with our baby. It is very cozy, so you feel right at home. The amenities are particularly noteworthy, they go far beyond "standard amenities". The children were also thought of here. The contact with the hostess was very friendly and pleasant at all times. If we come back to the area, we would definitely choose this apartment again!

We were very warmly welcomed and guided directly through the rooms, which immediately gave us a good feeling. The accommodation was fully equipped – we especially liked the beautiful, well-equipped kitchen. It really had everything you need. The outdoor area is a real highlight: the garden is very well maintained, invites you to relax and offers a fantastic view. Overall, the Airbnb is located in a quiet residential area, which is very pleasant – but you should also be careful not to be too loud yourself. The fitness equipment is a nice extra and perfectly sufficient for a small workout – but it could be oiled again :) Overall, we had a very nice stay and would definitely recommend the place! Everything was right here.

We were a larger group and had a great stay all around! The welcome was extremely warm and friendly. The house exceeded our expectations – it is very spacious, well equipped and offers a variety of possibilities for use. We all felt very comfortable and would love to come back any time. The place was very nice, as described, we had many options, kicker, billiards, the large pool, hot tub, a large meadow, table tennis, etc. Unfortunately, the dishwasher was broken, which was a bit annoying. Eve wanted to solve the problem, was very communicative, but unfortunately it didn't work. A little too little toilet paper and hardly any towels to dry yourself with were available. Otherwise, we were very happy with the place. The long weekend was very nice!

We (7 adults, 3 children and 1 dog) had - except for the weather, for which the landlord is not responsible - 3 wonderful days in the house Le Batelier. We were very warmly welcomed, received a tour of the whole house with a nice briefing in the kitchen, TV, etc. We felt right at home. The kitchen is perfectly equipped, dishes and glasses are also sufficiently available. 3 bathrooms - well equipped - 4 toilets, 5 bedrooms - with enough room for clothes, etc. - and everything very clean! On the day of departure, André - as agreed - was there on time at 10 am. We highly recommend this place!!!

We were very satisfied with the apartment; very quiet, nice views and good amenities. You actually have everything you need for a nice time with family and friends. The hosts were very nice and also flexible with check-out. We would love to recommend it :-)

We loved the place during our stay! It is really beautiful, especially the master suite impressed us. It's a bit remote, but that's exactly what we wanted. A trip to Strasbourg was also possible, about 50 minutes' drive. You just can't travel without a car😉 I'm sure we'll be back!

Perfect accommodation! We found it even better in real life than in the photos! Nothing was missing, everything was provided: bed linen, bathrobes, towels, flip-flops. Very responsive host! Everything is there for a wonderful stay! We'll be back if we have a chance! Go there without so much as a second thought! You won't be disappointed!
