Beachfront vacation rentals in Barnstable

We had such an amazing time at Anne’s beachfront cottage. My girlfriend, pup and I spent about a week there to celebrate my birthday and staying here while on the island made it such a stress free trip. The house was well-stocked with supplies, towels, and pantry items that we would have otherwise forgotten to bring. The LOCATION was unbeatable, close to everything while still being secluded from the main road. The backyard views were immaculate, sitting on the beach for the sunset and enjoying the breeze, playing in the water with the dog. We all loved it! My only minor complaint is that the beach got a bit dirty with seaweed by the end of our stay, but I know that’s unavoidable due to the position within the cove. We would definitely come back for a future stay on the Vineyard!

We had such an amazing stay. We felt right at home and were very comfortable with the place. Carolyn was very responsive and helped with everything we needed. Shout out Ali for fixing our little problem. We loved it here and would stay again!

I loved my stay at Arianna and Tara’s place. Everything was so thoughtful and mindful including the soothing music that was playing upon arrival. A and T’s Airbnb was an example of how great an Airbnb can be. Five stars!!

Lisa's place is so lovely. It is so peaceful and has a great view. Check in was super easy and everything was as expected. Lisa is a great communicator and we were easily able to get questions answered. When we had an issue (not related to our stay) Lisa was so helpful and kind. Highly recommend.

A lovely home with a lovely host! The house was well stocked, clean and the beds were really comfortable. Dawn was very responsive to any questions we had and very accommodating to our requests. We even extended our time for an additional week and it was a breeze. Beach is within walking distance and it was a nice local beach. Of course dog friendly is always a must for us and Izzy was welcome here. All in all a great stay in a great area! Highly Recommend. We will be back. Thank you for everything!!!!

Jacks place was perfect for a girls weekend! He was super responsive and available for any questions. The place is close to many things to do with the ability to have that off the grid cape cod experience. I would recommend to anyone and book again in the future!

Awesome little cottage for a week! We spent a whole week at this place and loved it! Tanya was so kind with instructions how to get in and was available for if we needed anything at all. The location is spectacular steps from the private beach, near some great restaurants and stores. The space is small but really all the essentials you need to have a relaxing quiet stay. Would definitely stay again and it’s the perfect place for a getaway.

We had a wonderful week on the Cape. I was initially concerned as this house is attached to the primary residence. However, the yards are completely separate and private, the owner was not in residence while we were there, and we forgot all about it after check in. The house is just steps to the beach, which also has a playground and swings. Beach chairs and umbrella were included, but be sure to bring your own cooler. The kitchen had all new pans and utensils, everything we could ask for. We did a lot of cooking, although we checked out a few local restaurants including The Skipper chowder house, a quick walk away. We also enjoyed mini golf, the arcade, and go karts at Skull Island which kept my crowd of teenagers happy. We rented kayaks on Bass River which was a great way to tool around the coves and inlets nearby. I spent a great deal of time on the deck with coffee and a book, and we enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings. A lovely, quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors.

The pictures don't do justice to how beautiful and peaceful is place is. The ocean is right there, with little seats on the deck to listen to the waves. The apartment is very quaint and cozy, with excellent Cape decor. We enjoyed our stay immensely, highly recommend!

Perfect location and beautiful views of the bay. It had everything we needed. tmThe studio was very clean and nicely decorated. Jenny and Ania were perfect hosts and always responded quickly to any questions we had.

We loved are family stay at Paul & Katie’s home for Easter Week. It is a dream home . The neighborhood was beautiful and walkable, with a peaceful path to a private beach. We enjoyed the shops and restaurants in Mashpee Commons about an 8 minute drive away.

We stayed here for weekend in November with multi-generations of family members. Lots of space to spread out - and the middle age group enjoyed the turn-table! Spacious kitchen, comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. Thanks!

The Condo was clean & comfortable. Having two bedrooms with queen beds was perfect for us, and sharing the 1 bathroom worked fine. The price was better than most other options. It was peaceful, and very quiet during our stay (in early May). Having the pool available would be very nice in summer months.

I loved our stay . The place inside was bigger than I was expecting. They have so many dishes, glasses, towels, blankets, chairs, etc to use. The place was great, just wish our weather was better. Thank you for being so helpful before and during our stay . Hope to return next year .

Lovely place to stay. The unit is well decorated and clean. The WiFi was fast which is a big plus for me. The host was very responsive and answered all my questions in a timely manner. Will definitely stay here again.

This is a true hidden gem. A stones throw from one of the best raw bars in Yarmouth (or Cape Cod for that matter), literally steps (like 5 steps right out the slider) from the beach, stunning views and sunsets. Very clean and cozy cottage, and our host was excellent. The value was also incredible. Very central in Cape Cod, meaning anything you want to do besides Provincetown is 30 mins or less in any direction. Yarmouth had a charm of its own, especially for a family with young children. Lots of kids activities within 5 minutes. A+++

We would rate this place 10 stars if we could. Mary Ellen and Danny were the most wonderful hosts and both incredibly friendly. The place was spotless and smelled divine. The little details and goodies made the stay perfect. We will absolutely be returning and have recommended this air b&b to our friends and family!

Brianna's place was well kept up, clean, and comfortable. The house had a very quite and secluded setting, which we enjoyed. We had a nice stay and thought this was a good central location in Cape Cod. Brianna had everything we needed and more. The conveniences that she had in the house were much appreciated (bags, beach equipment and toys, cooler, washer and dryer & etc.) and made life so much easier. She was very responsive when asked and even gave us some recommendations around the area. The whole process was smooth!

Fantastic location right next to the ferry to Martha’s Vineyard. We didn’t even plan for that, but we ended up taking the ferry one day and it was great. 5 minute stroll to the ticket office.

The AirBnB apartment was very well located, in a peaceful place and 5 minutes walk to the beach.... It's like we had our condominium in Cape Cod. When the time comes, it will be my choice #1.

the cottage was a beautiful spot only a minute walk from a private beach. The cottage was clean. Yvonne was an excellent host, was very quick to respond, and left a very thorough binder of info about the local amenities snd restaurants. The four or five restaurants we tried from the list were all excellent!

This was my family and I’s first time ever renting an Airbnb. Roberta helped make our first experience a great one. The location of the house was beautiful, the house itself was amazing, clean, rustic, and everything we were looking for. And Roberta was a great host. She remained consistent in communication and she gave us some really great insight about the location and the house itself. My favorite part about the Airbnb was not only the beautiful scenery of the ocean, but also the quietness of the neighborhood. Roberta has everything covered including kitchen utensils, bathing supplies, extra blankets and pillows, board games, and more. It may be a small cottage, but it was perfect for what my family and I were looking for Thank you Roberta for giving us such a great experience.
