Vacation rentals with breakfast in Barking

We had a wonderful 10 days with Anne. She is a great host, always had good tips for us and an open ear. The rooms are large, bright and above all the beds were excellent (...the best beds I have ever had in a vacation apartment). We had a breakfast room to ourselves and felt very, very comfortable. Don't forget: Caldey and the two cats, who made our stay even more enjoyable. Anne's place is highly recommended. Anna and Regina

If I could book my stays for the entire year in advance, I absolutely would! Carol’s place is simply gorgeous. Yesterday, I enjoyed a lovely meal out on the balcony, taking in the beautiful surroundings—and this morning, I did the same with the delicious breakfast so thoughtfully provided by Carol. Such a peaceful and welcoming experience!

Staying with Monica was really very nice. It was very nice and everything is furnished with attention to detail. Super clean room and always up for a good conversation. We felt very comfortable and in good hands. She is very helpful and friendly and Charlie is also super sweet.

I loved staying with Anamaria and her family. Their house is located in a really peaceful area that is easily accessible from central London via bus or train. While Anamaria was not home when I arrived, checking in was easy thanks to the clear instructions I received (and I was greeted with enthusiasm by their cute dog and cat). The room was decorated nicely and smelled awesome. I also loved that I had my own bathroom. Communication was also perfect! 100% recommended.

I would certainly endorse all the positive comments from previous reviews that add up to Simona being rated a super host. Very happy with my week's stay. Simona is a very chatty, naturally welcoming host whose company I very much enjoyed. The room I had was small but all that I needed for somewhere to sleep after spending most of the time out-and-about in London, while Simona's house is a well-lived in, homely space in a great location. It might come with the odd creak and groan from the floorboards and plumbing, but, hey, welcome to 'Wimpy/Barrett Britain!' Ultimately, it's the human touches that make travelling so compelling and I look forward to sharing a plate of pasta with Simona when next in Wapping. That's dependant on availability of course - there's good reason why Simona's is usually booked-up far in advance. Glad for having had this chance for an introduction. Cheers!

What can I say about our stay with Annie and Andrew. They were simply amazing and their places is as beautiful as the pictures. Amazing breakfast with homemade muesli and fruit and a cooked English breakfast. The day we left they even packed a breakfast/lunch for us which was absolutely amazing as we had to leave early. Their home is beautiful. Their thoughtfulness is amazing and they were super nice people. And what can I say about their dog? Stanley is a sweetheart.

We had an amazing stay at Alex's apartment, both because of the host's personality and the apartment itself. Alex is an amazing person, met us personally and arranged a very flexible check-in and checkout, and was always available for any help. The apartment is absolutely unique and has a lot of charm, filled with curious antiques, while at the same time having a very clean bathroom and comfortable bed, chairs, table, couch - everything invites you to sit and enjoy the time. Very well lit and with an amazing view, every evening was a pleasure. The kitchen is well equipped, and cooking was no problem at all. The location is stunning, with a very lively neighborhood, lots of local shops, stores, and cafés. For sensitive sleepers, the early nights might be a bit loud because of the road close by, and due to a sudden heatwave, it was somewhat too warm, like anywhere on the top floor. Aside from these small things, it was a splendid stay.

It’s safe to say that this was one of the best Airbnb experiences I have had to date. It’s so nice when a host is responsive, but it’s even better when they are friendly, hospitable, and kind. Maxine has an amazing place to stay, and it’s especially a perfect place for those visiting a friend, or family member at goldsmiths university. Although the location is far from most areas in London, it’s not a problem using public transportation to get back at night. Along with the place being very nice, it has ample hot water and a great main bathroom, a nice living room, and one of the most comfortable beds. Along with all this good, Maxine also has fitted the bathroom with her own bath products, that include a great smelling shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. I highly recommend this stay, for its cost, comfort, and amazing host, if you visit London.

I had an excellent stay at Gina’s London flat! Gina was incredibly responsive and accommodating, making check-in and communication smooth and stress-free. The location is perfect—just a short walk to Borough Market and London Bridge tube station, with easy access to all the city’s highlights. The flat itself is quiet and peaceful, with comfortable beds that made for a restful night's sleep. As a bonus, the views of The Shard and London Eye were spectacular! Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting London.

We cannot say enough about Davey and his charming home! Davey welcomed us and was so accommodating to our needs as we arrived early in town. He was friendly and welcoming and his home was absolutely lovely, and was so nice to come back to after a busy day in London. We fell in love with Greenwich and loved what an easy walk it was into town from Davey’s home. We unfortunately left our prescription glasses and Davey was so kind, he mailed them back to our home in the states, with a little help from Sydney, his adorable pup. We can’t thank him enough and hope to come back to visit again.

Lovely flat in a vibrant neighbourhood - everything was exactly as described and I appreciated the comfortable bed and modern bathroom very much. The hosts were super friendly and easy to reach and the flat had everything one can wish for, it was very clean and tidy and everything worked. Would love to return anytime. Thanks so much!

We've stayed her 3-4 times now and it's great. We keep coming back because it's very comfortable. Unlike a lot of places the couch is comfy, as are the chairs and beds. We can cook dinner, pop downstairs to 2-3 different markets, plus several pubs and restaurants, and bring food back. The nearby pedestrian zone even has a Marks and Spence market that's very nice (think Whole Foods). The area is great. Two very convenient trains and several buses. We like to walk and often go through London Fields to Broadway market. Kingsland Road is good for Turkish food, an interesting African market and a Pret a Manger. The host, Zoe, is extremely responsive and helpful. Would definitely come back if we go back to Hackney again.

Super nice stay in Caroline's apartment. The communication beforehand was also very pleasant and customer oriented. Apartment really meets everything you need. Nice quiet neighborhood. Good bed! (Only the sofa in the living room where my son slept is a bit thin). Small but nice bathroom, full kitchen and even a washing machine. Super sweet also that there were breakfast and snacks ready. The concierge is very friendly. There was a misunderstanding about our arrival time, but after a phone call, he arrived right away. From the Apartment really very easy to travel by bus, metro or bike to all places in London. 1 point of attention to people with allergies such as dust mites, the apartment is a little less suitable because it is very English furnished - which is very cozy - but because of the many rugs - also attracts a lot of dust. Incidentally, the apartment is really very clean! We really enjoyed it very much! Thank you!

Deborah made me feel welcome from the moment I was in contact with her. She ensured that I arrived well and she always provided help and suggestions during my stay. The apartment is nice, the room was spacious for London standards and Deborah always welcomed me in her kitchen or the lounge. Very much enjoyed my time at her place.

Great stay! Everything is very clean, private bathroom has everything you need. The location is great and super easy to go to center of London. Some nice restaurants in the area. I had an absolutely lovely time at Shirley's! Shirley was so welcoming and made me feel at ease and comfortable. It was lovely to stay with a host as a younger person traveling solo! The room was incredibly comfortable and well kept, the bread and fixings for breakfast were delicious, and it was so easy to get anywhere in London I wanted to go! Shirley was so kind, and I had a wonderful stay!

We loved staying with Fiona! Her place is cozy and clean and so easy to get to the bus. She made us a yummy breakfast every morning and we had such a great time talking with her every day. We would definitely stay here again.

Great 4-day stay at Jennie's. The house is clean and very peaceful, and access to the small garden is really very pleasant. Jennie was very kind and welcoming, and also shared with us places in Greenwich to discover. Thank you Jennie for hosting us !

Elizabeth is a very thoughtful host. She responded promptly to my queries giving useful information. She was very welcoming and the room was comfortable and well equipped.

This was a great experience. After a long day of traveling, Catherine had the kitchen stocked with juice, milk, fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt, and home baked bread and cake. My daughters stated” it was the best cake “. The space was exactly described and more- a beautiful home and area. Catherine also had a reference book with her recommendations, maps, descriptions, and menus. This was all so very helpful. I hope to come back one day.

I very much enjoyed staying at Jackie's garden apartment. She was helpful with suggestions. Breakfast dishes were always placed out for me. Her garden was a welcome haven after a long day of walking. She was informative and friendly. Everything you would want or expect in a host. Thank you, Jackie, for a wonderful stay!
