Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Barjac

What a gem of a place and hosts! We traveled to quite a few places during our 2.5 week trip through Europe, and this was by far our favorite stay. Located in the Luberon Valley in the medieval town of Ménerbes, Provence, you only had to look outside of your window to see the vibrant purple shades of the blooming summer lavenders and lavandines. The stay was well appointed with everything you’d need, and the private courtyard provided breathtaking views of the valleys and nearby mountains. The town and stay are rich in history - you’ll enjoy learning about it from hosts Maria and Francois, who are absolutely delightful. A beautiful breakfast of local fresh fruits, pastries, eggs and yogurt was provided, which gave us enough fuel for a long day of walking and sightseeing. My favorite part of it all were the conversations we had with Maria and Francois over breakfast - they’re quite charming and funny; we exchanged stories of our lives and travels. Highly recommend this stay!

This is the second time we've come. And the second time was even better!!! Rest, tranquility, and total disconnection for a few days. I already miss this magical place. Don't change anything, you're perfect. Thank you again for your hospitality and kindness. Hope to see you soon. Lucile.

The property is lovely and the hosts were very welcoming and respectful and helpful with suggestions. Our only critique would be that the pool whilst lovely is not private and shared with the hosts who admittedly did not use it whilst we were there and if you like me love to cook the oven was portable and a slight challenge to use. The village and walks were incredible and the location near to Uzes, Nimes and Avignon makes for a lovely stay. A big thank you to Pascal and Catherine x

This old converted water mill makes a lovely family house, perfect for all generations. It is isolated (no need to worry about children screaming in the swimming pool) and surrounded by beautiful countryside, with signed hiking trails in all directions. You can walk to the very attractive village of Lussan for an ice cream or drink, (but any sort of food shopping does mean a car journey.) Our group comprised grandparents, parents and three children (aged 3 to 8). The children loved the pool, the trampoline and the bikes. The adults enjoyed boules and molkii. (There's also table tennis and lots of board games.) Vincent, the owner, lives close by and we were amazed at how quickly and efficiently he came round to deal with any little problems.

This is the third time we have come to the Mas de Blacholles and it is always a pleasure, charming little farmhouse in a small natural setting. Anne-Marie always responds quickly with great kindness. We'll be happy to go back!

The Mini Casa is probably the most beautiful accommodation we have ever stayed in! We felt at home right from the start and were able to check in a little earlier, which was very convenient for us. Célia is an attentive hostess and put local products on the table to welcome us. She had sent us helpful tips for the region in advance. Our highlight was the sofa on the top floor with a great view. The accommodation is excellently equipped and very stylishly furnished. It is located in a small village, which we liked. Many excursion destinations can be reached within 30 minutes by car. We would love to come back!

Idyllic stay at Frédéric's. The house is full of charm, peaceful and very well-located. The village of Balazuc is superb, staying in the heart is a real + We took full advantage of the terrace (pleasant in the morning and evening). The Ardèche is below the village (with possible departure by canoe). Frédéric is very accommodating. Check-in and checkout were smooth. I highly recommend your place to stay

Rejuvenating stay away from contemporary tumult. The region is superb and preserved, concealing a diversity of landscapes where you can walk and be silent, without forgetting swimming when it is too hot. The cabin is a rare, welcoming place, open to the breathing of chestnut and cherry trees, very comfortable and subtly arranged, inhabited by many delicate details far from the ambient formatting (the broom is even a work of art!). The surroundings, although close to the village, are beautiful, lively nature where you can walk at dusk, and admire the purple full moonrise behind the mountains when there is a full moon! I even met a fox, and heard the hooting of owls! Laurent is a very caring, responsive, and generous host in his advice to discover this region in the best possible way. The cherry on top, the presence of Rock, a mischievous and adorable young dog. I recommend it 100%!

Very nice large house with some stylish treasures and 3 electric fans against the summer heat! We will be happy to come back to this very quiet, spacious accommodation!

We had a lovely stay at Catherine's apartment. Great for a quiet stay. Catherine is a host who is available.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect, in the beautiful main village square, right in the centre of Uzès. It was peaceful, comfortable and the apartment was bright and cozy. It had a little outdoor balcony which was a nice bonus. We were thrilled to have had the opportunity of staying in this delightful place and the hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. We had an unexpected break at Cinthia's. Every detail is designed for our well-being. We had a great time sharing and laughing. We discovered lots of relaxation devices that we can easily buy. We weren't able to try everything in 3 days, it's too short. We'll be back, we have to.

Amaury’s place was stunning and in a great location. The beds were comfortable, the apartment was spacious and clean and it was easy to find and walk from the station. Amaury was responsive and helpful throughout. Would recommend.

For nature lovers, I really recommend Françoise and Serge's accommodation. Very peaceful and comfortable. We thank Françoise and Serge for the special touches, strawberries and apricots, delicious.

Charming cozy cottage tastefully furnished, very well equipped, impeccable cleanliness, comfortable bedding. Perfect set-up for couple. The hosts are warm, the hospitality and responsiveness are impeccable and good recommendations. Very well located, it is both easy to reach Bagnols for shops while being surrounded by nature with lots of possible hikes nearby and beautiful sites to visit. Big plus for the stove with the wood provided, the flames are comforting in the cold season. We had a great time between beautiful hikes and rest by the fire.

Just stayed in this beautiful villa with a group of friends for my 60 th birthday and we had an amazing stay. The villa is absolutely fabulous, gorgeous inside and the pool area and exterior are just wonderful. The backdrop of the Luberon cliffs just adds to a great location. From the beginning, the hosts Fabio and Pierre could not have been more helpful, they recommended lovely restaurants, additional bike hire options, a great chef who cooked us an amazing dinner one night, local walks and options for other activities and local villages to visit - too much to fit in to a long weekend so we will definitely have to return again! I had a very memorable weekend so thank you again, you have a very special place! Sally

Fab place, great social spaces for our group. The location was gorgeous. Lisa was very accommodating and let us check in two hours early and communicated well throughout. We all enjoyed our stay at the house and thought it was very reasonably priced. The parking area is very tight behind the gate if you’re driving a large people carrier, so takes a little while to park, but still serves its function well. A neighbour dealt with us during our stay - only speaks French - so good to keep this in mind if you don’t have a member / speak French yourself. Luckily one of our party spoke French, so it was fine. The neighbour wasn’t very warm but definitely didn’t take away from a beautiful place in a gorgeous village and a great stay. It was clean, the pool and games were fab, and the BBQ was brilliant. Definitely recommend the local cafe / pub for drinks in the evening too, it’s gorgeous!

A luxurious oasis in the middle of the Luberon. Within a 5-10 minutes drive are the stunning towns of Gordes, Joucas, Goult and Rousillon, with L'Isle sur la Sorgue about 15-20 mins away. The first four all have terrific boulangeries for the essential early morning croissants and coffee. The house is spacious, comfortable and very well equipped for group dining, indoors or out. The pool is the centre attraction (although slightly on the cool side), with outdoor table tennis and darts also adding to the fun. Lots of beds and chairs around the pool to capture the sun from all angles. We've left with very special memories shared with friends and family. Thank you

This house and the surrounding grounds are amazing. This was the most impressive AirBnB we have ever stayed in. We stayed here for one week for a family gathering. It is as big (or bigger) than the pictures show. The house is beautiful and modern. The grounds are spectacular. They even have 8 small tortoises on the premises which the kids loved to feed. The pool is huge. You feel like you are on the grounds of a palace. Additionally, Najet and her husband were extremely friendly, kind and helpful. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing stay in the south of France.

A charming and authentic house in the middle of nature and equipped with all the necessary luxury. A beautiful and quiet area, simply wonderful. Sylvie welcomed us perfectly and showed us around the house. And then it was just enjoyment. Definitely recommended.

Peaceful spot up in the mountains. Patio is splendid on sunny days, hammock and all! We had some unfortunate weather and lost wifi, but Yolande & Maurice we so kind and helpful. Comfy beds, great tub! Kitchen is so well equipped, happy cooking!! Bring slippers, floor can be chilly. Would recommend. Thank you Yolande & Maurice!
