The Cove Retreat Upstairs Oceanfront Apartment

This unique property is absolute oceanfront. It has the main residence and two private fully self contained apartments. Our friendly managers Jan and Steve live onsite with their little dog Charlie. The spacious one bedroom apartment is upstairs. The bedroom has gorgous views with ensuite and spa. Pets are very welcome but we ask that they are not left unattended. We offer doggie sitting at very reasonable rates and provide pet friendly ideas. Our relaxing outside areas all overlook the ocean.

My place is close to the city, Bargara beaches, Rum Distillery, Bundaberg Brewed Drinks, the River Feast Markets, Mon Rops turtle rookery and the best seafood restaurant on the river, where you can dine in or take away and take a cruise to the Port. You’ll love my place because of the location, so close to everything and no noisy traffic, it is very quiet. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers. You really do need a car to get around. We do have Uber and Cabs.

Tully’s is a stylish place to stay, perfect for groups or families. A 5 minute walk to Archie’s beach and a 3 minute drive to Bargara, or 15 to Bundaberg. Tully’s has three spacious bedrooms & two newly renovated bathrooms. It lends its self to being outdoors, with a huge outdoor space and firepit. Enjoy a bbq whilst being around your dog, all good boys welcome outside only. There is air conditioning in two of the bedrooms and in the living room. We hope you love Tully’s as much as we do!

Bargara Beachfront Escape Kelly’s Beach

Our gorgeous unit is straight in front of the Surf Life Savers at Kelly’s Beach. Around the corner is the Causeway swimming hole which is perfect if you like calm water. We are a beachfront unit with a lawn front and an undercover entertainment area. Last year you could see the whales from our balcony. The turtles lay their eggs on the beach out the front. This is the perfect spot to relax and not have to go far to see things. The cafes and shops are a stones throw away.

A pathway of terracotta tiles winds through lush greenery, leading to the sandy beach. Towering trees provide natural shade, with the ocean visible in the background. The shoreline invites relaxation, framed by coastal vegetation on either side.

Located on Kellys Beach with direct access to the beach and just across the road from the Bargara Golf Course. Our 3 unit complex is just a 5 minute walk to Bargara CBD and just 15 Km into Bundaberg. We offer Off street parking, Wifi, Netflix, Kitchen and Washing facilities. Private own outdoor dining options to each unit, units are all non smoking and not suitable for children. The sandy beach is at your back door there are plenty of safe swimming and snorkelling spots.

The living area features a comfortable grey lounge with blue accent pillows, positioned around a circular coffee table. Natural light floods in through sliding doors that open to a private balcony, while a neutral-toned rug complements the space. Greenery is presented in decorative pots.

Welcome to our Studio apartment it is peaceful and centrally located . The Studio is fully self contained with a private seating area. It is not attached to the main house, but still close enough to the house we live in. I can provide a travel cot for an infant if required. The studio set back from the road. Horizon Apartments Unit 1, Bargara, more than met our expectations. An incredible and beautifully presented unit, with everything one needs for an easy and relaxing break away from home. What a pleasant surprise to see the unit true to the photos presented and in addition to be greeted to a white, crisp and clean bathroom, worlds apart from the photo of the 70’s brown one shown. In addition the unexpected benefit of WiFi and Netflix really came in handy for the one cloudy and rainy day in we had. Not only is the unit well appointed, the location just could not be better if you tried. Walking out of the unit on to well maintained grass that has a short path leading onto gorgeous Kelly Beach. It was a delight to see QLD surf lifesavers flags right there. And in the late afternoon when the sun heads west and the shade covers the beach and the wind picks up, the lagoon is the perfect way to end the day. I can not recommend this unit and location enough! 11/10!!

It’s a perfect location in the heart of Bargara! Everything is walkable & a great coffee shop just downstairs. We had a wonderful stay!

What a gem! Michael has thought of everything you might need for your stay - kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with all amenities you could think of. Cooking utensils and pans were in great condition which is a rare find with beach units. Great selection of toys and board games to keep kids of all ages busy and courtyard area was perfect for hanging out during the day as it’s in full shade. The pool looked great but was a bit cold for us this time round. All beds were very comfortable, including the sofa bed which we pulled out for a movie night in front of the tv. Walking distance to almost everything, we barely used the car. We will definitely be back!

Steve was very welcoming and responsive to our needs. A gracious host who is friendly and helpful, and has a great sense of humour. The room was clean and tidy, and the price was very reasonable. We will definitely return when we are in the neighbourhood again.
