River Cottage

EmmaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was probably the best airbnb I have ever stayed in! Both Gina and her husband were incredible hosts - they welcomed us upon arrival, they were extremely friendly and gave us some helpful recommendations as we didn’t know the area. I had mentioned the trip was for a birthday and Gina had hung birthday banners for us arriving, which was such a lovely touch! They also left us some fresh bread, milk, etc which we really appreciated! The bed was so comfy, the house was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed. There are stunning views from every window, and the two balconies are beautiful. I would highly recommend a stay in this home.

Swallows nest is a perfect getaway , location is second to none beside the sea and next door to the pub..The bed is extremely comfortable , the heating is great especially if it is cold and wet. I am recommending this place to all my friends . Also we found the accommodation suitable for anyone in a wheelchair .

Had a lovely weekend stay, place was very peaceful and about a 20 min walk into Buncrana along a seaside path. Fantastic views of beach and sea. Karen, Gerry and their daughter Sylvia were very helpful and welcoming, with a wee hamper of foodstuff provided which was a lovely touch.
An outdoor patio area is shown with a smooth stone surface, complemented by a single white chair. Lush green grass extends towards a fenced area, leading to the coastline. The clear blue sea can be seen in the background under a bright sky.

A quiet street scene is illuminated by decorative blue lights. The pavement and buildings are damp, reflecting the soft glow from street lamps. The misty atmosphere adds a tranquil quality to the view of the residential buildings lining the street.

Very nice stay but note, if you are tall the bed is quite short. Very hospitably received by Karl, we even got some groceries for breakfast! The wagon is in a very nice place and is cozily furnished. Everything is there. Well done
