Visitors can enjoy walking/cycling on many miles of marked walks including the disused single gauge railway. The pristine beaches, ocean and mountains are within minutes of the house, ideal for deep sea fishing, surfing, kayaking, boat trips, guided walks, mountain climbing and cycling.

The cottage is located in Stragally Co Donegal between the towns of Ballybofey and Glenties which offer many shops pubs, restaurants, traditional music etc.

Our rustic small place is located at the end of a quiet, peaceful lane and has unrestricted views of the Derryveagh Mountains in West Donegal. There are no street lights and it is four km from the nearest shop. It is immersed in nature and is suitable for people seeking peace and quiet who value wildlife and conservation. We have wifi but it is not reliable. Phone coverage in the lodge is limited.

The cottage has 1 bedroom with double bed , living room/kitchen with stove fire, the sofa is a sofa bed also. cottage has central heating also
