Great comfortable stay, location was an excellent base for visiting D Day, WW2 Normandy sites and local cultural attractions. Martine was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Gite is in a lovely quiet location and is well serviced with a good well stocked supermarket less than 10mins drive away. Would recommend.

We had a short but truly lovely stay! A perfect place for our family--we could all spread out a bit after a week sharing hotel rooms. Loved the location--the views were charming. Proximity to Bayeux was excellent--less than a five minute drive to the town center parking lots. Very clean, clear instructions, and thoughtfully stocked kitchen (though we didn't cook!). We'd definitely return. Thank you for a great stop on our road trip.

But the facilities of the house made us want to enjoy our stay at this location. I would highly recommend this home. We had a very nice week at the great place. Guy-André and Sylvie as well as Tess welcomed us in a very friendly way. Since we unfortunately do not speak French, communication was a bit difficult, but feasible with the help of an app. We'll learn the language for our next vacation in France. :) Sylvie also gave us good recommendations for restaurants or very nice tips for activities. Guy-André responded quickly to messages and also sent a good description of the route in advance. The accommodation is centrally located to do many activities and to get to know the Cotentin. The terrace or garden were also very nice to relax. A great place to stay that we can recommend!

The cottage was everything advertised and more. Beds were very comfortable; literature was provided for local attractions, groceries restaurants; emergency contacts, etc. Loved the horses on their breeding farm, and the serene rural setting - just the perfect distance from everything we came to see. Our gracious host, Venessa, was bilingual and spoke English, which made communicating with her much easier. The kitchen as well as the entire cottage was beautifully furnished with everything we needed. She had even provided games, and other children items -which we didn’t need - but we appreciated seeing the details given to the needs of visiting families. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to enjoy the pool or hot tub, but would have enjoyed spending time at both amenities, given more time for our trip. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone desiring to travel to the Normandy area of France.
