Our stay at this beautiful hut was the highlight of our Norway trip. The hut is equipped with everything needed for a longer stay and the surrounding area is stunning and peaceful. In our short time, we were able to explore the local trails to the nearby beaches, see a moose directly from the window, catch and cook an arctic cod — all of it in just 2 nights. John-Karstein was very welcoming and has clearly put a lot of passion into building a very authentic and unique staying experience. We wish we could spend a longer time and will certainly be back for longer next time.

I stayed here in connection with work, but I have saved the place in my memory to be able to come back on holiday and stay longer.

Amazing seaview! Location was totally peaceful and suitable for enjoying nature, Västerålen and even Lofoten. Easy to drive eg. to whalesafari in Andenes. The cottage was functional, cozy and well equipped. Irene communicated well and quickly. She even informed us about night-time road closure, which was essential to us. We had totally relaxing stay!

Amund and Therese house is a jewel. Waking up to the view of the fjord illuminated by the rising sun is a wonderful sight. The jacuzzi has a wonderful view on the fjord at the east and mountains to the west. And at night you get to see auroras if you're lucky Amund was also extremely helpful during our stay and gave us contacts to local activities fitting our family. We wish we didn't have to leave

We had a wonderful stay! The contact with Marte's father was very friendly – he provided us with great tips on the surroundings. The cottage itself was sparkling clean, well furnished and equipped with everything you need – including a grill, which we enjoyed very much. The view was simply breathtaking and made the stay perfect. Clear recommendation!

Magnifique ! The environment is extraordinary: the house is located north of a lake, and surrounded by mountains. It has all the amenities to feel "at home". There's even a canoe and life jackets to go for a walk on the lake. As for the host, she is very responsive. In short, in a word, 5 well-deserved stars. Thanks!

Of the 40 countries I've visited, I think this is the most beautiful Airbnb I've ever stayed in. The view of the fjord is breathtaking, the stream enchanting, you are really away from the world in a positive way. The interior is very cozy, there is a great hike to do at the bottom of the fjord. There was plenty of drinking water in the fridge and it was very easy to get water from the stream for showering/dishes. The kitchen could be a little better equipped (no oil, vinegar, etc.)

We had a great time in Britt's nice cabin. Beautiful view, quiet and peaceful. Plenty of room for 6 people. Britt was friendly and responded quickly. She gave us a good description with pictures, so it was easy to find. Recommended!

Beautiful home , well equipped. There were 8 of us and we didn't bother . The cabin is in a beautiful environment, very quiet, conducive to animal observation: eagles, cormorant,oyster pie..., otters, porpoises, heather rooster, heron,swan... reindeer, momentum. We were able to see some very beautiful northern lights. Andreas is a very responsive,kind and helpful host. In short: a beautiful place 😄

Absolutely great place; good location, quiet and no disturbance from neighbors. The apartment was otherwise clean and the photos were correct, but the apartment had a strong smell that did not go away by ventilating and there was visible mold in the sauna benches. Those are the only downsides to the accommodation☺️
