Located near Anjeeveedu village 45 minutes from Kodaikanal town, this is a spacious 3 bedroom house with valley views. Please note the location marker on Airbnb is misleading, do not attempt to reach without inquiring with me. We are isolated when it comes to restaurants & alcohol shops, and the road leading to the property is not in good condition and needs to be taken carefully. However all models of cars/bikes can reach. Food is included.

A wonderful stay with a beautiful view from the balcony. You can witness spectacular sunrise 🌄 worth the stay. Andrew is very friendly and very quick to respond and helpful. You have few eatouts on the streets. You can go ahead with this Place if you want a peaceful stay and a best view point in Kodai!!! Parking is at your own risk. But they offer paid parking which is good. But they charge you rs. 500 per-day. If you cannot climb steps. I might be difficult as you have to climb 100 steps from the street. But, I felt ok and my parents was able to climb. So had a wonderful experience over-all!!!

We went to this place as a group of 13 and the manager was very proactive and made sure everything was communicated as soon as we booked the place. The care taker contacts a day before and gives directions, details about food so that you can choose what to do. A lot of previous reviews mentioned power issues but we didn't face any. Had power throughout our stay. The plantations and gardens surrounding the property were also nice and picture worthy. Would definitely recommend the place for 1-2 day stay if you are just planning to chill and relax. If you want something closer to Kodaikanal, then this is not the right place since it is about 1-1.5 hrs from Kodaikanal.

This is by far the most amazing place I've ever had the opportunity to stay at! The only regret I have is not choosing to stay longer, but I've made a pact to return hopefully every year from now on. The location was absolutely stunning with lush landscapes, a cascading waterfall, beautiful sunrises and sunsets, I mean, what else can a nature lover ask for? India is truly, truly beautiful and with places like Mathew's that allow guests to experience one of India's diverse geographical beauties, one can be said to be blessed to have the opportunity to stay here! The stay was peaceful, private and definitely healing. The place was easy to find with the help of Waze, but the ascend and descend is strenuous, especially for people who are not very used to climbing steep steps, slightly treacherous and definitely not suitable for the elderly. The staff were very helpful and efficient when it came to receiving us, helping us with our luggage and delivering our food. Highly recommended!!!!!!

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely property. The apartments were spotless, well-maintained, and equipped with modern amenities that made our stay comfortable and convenient. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome and well cared for—special thanks to Mary, Laxman, Radha, Hari, and Ganesh for their exceptional hospitality. They were all incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile. The food served was absolutely delicious—homemade, comforting, and full of flavor. The location is ideal, situated right next to Chettiar Park with beautiful views and just a short walk from the main market area. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, well-run place to stay in the area!
