Interesting daytrips include Chateau Cathares, natural gorges, Romanesque Abbeys, picturesque villages, Collioure and the mediterranean coast.

Perched at 1400m and facing south, it features a large, very flowery garden and a breathtaking view of the valley, Canigou, and the Carança massifs. Ideal for disconnecting! Wildlife is omnipresent and easy to observe. Numerous hiking or mountain biking trails start directly from the house. Our hamlet enjoys a Mediterranean climate and is located 40 minutes from the ski slopes and one hour from the sea.

There are great hiking opportunities into the Natural Reserve of Nohèdes with it's 4 lakes and stunning views of the Pyrenées mountains and the Mediterranean Sea in the distance.

July: admire the fireworks of the city of Carcassonne and find the Bergerie in the evening in its green setting.

You will find yourself in the heart of the village of Lapradelle-Puilaurens in the Aude valley beneath Puilaurens' Cathar castle. You will be in this magnificent green valley, close to activities such as rafting, a tourist train with velorail and the Cathar trail. Charming spacious studio with all amenities including a garden. It offers magnificent views of the surrounding vineyards and forests, ideal for walks, with views of the Pyrenees. This house is next to the Belgian owners' central farm, but is entirely private. During your stay, you can enjoy free wine tasting and a tour of the winery.
