A chilled, luxurious detached barn with king-size bed and spacious en-suite, just 10 mins to Bath (by train) or a leisurely walk to the vibrant and growing café culture, which is Bradford-on-Avon. Robin's Nest is a great Chic get-away with all the facilities for a self sufficient and relaxing break; it combines luxury with comfort and a great outside space. We also provide new bicycles, for the more energetic, to explore the area further and a Hot Tub to relax in at the end of the day.
“My partner and I originally booked Robin's nest as a christmas present to each other for a romantic get away. We laughed a couple of times comparing it to a shed in the garden, which effectively that is what it is, but we can safely say it is the best shed we have ever came across. It is much bigger inside than it looks, you have done an amazing job fitting it all in. The breakfast pack along with the milk, butter, orange juice and fruit bowl were such a lovely unexpected treat. You literally had thought of everything, even down to puting in shampoo, conditioner and shower gel in the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable, with crisp fresh bedding. Spotlessly clean, couldn't fault a thing! The hot tub was AMAZING !!! The first night we went in and had a perfect view of the sunset. And when it got dark, the fairy lights came on which was such a lovely surprise! Very romantic and really set a lovely ambient mood. Apart from the scary 1 track narrow roads we had to take to get to you, it was an absolute pleasure to stay at your lovely home. Thank you so much for being such lovely hosts and giving us the break we truly needed. 5 stars from us! Tracey & Beth”
Surrounded by idyllic countryside; 5 miles Bath; 3 miles Bradford on Avon; great for walking; excellent pub a short walk away ; farm shop & cafe 15 mins; self-contained; adjacent parking; stunning views over the Limpley Stoke Valley.
“We had a great stay at Julie’s. After a long day’s walk, it was a pleasure to have a hot shower and cup of tea in the cosy kitchen and later on sleep on a heated mattress! The cottage has lots of home touches including freshly squeezed orange juice and home baked bread for breakfast. The kitchen area was well-stocked with cooking utensils and we were able to walk to the village shop and make ourselves a fresh dinner. The surrounding area is just beautiful and Julie and Ben had plenty of tips for places to visit.”
Soak up the light in the double-height living room at this stunning stone sanctuary with arched stained glass windows. Explore the independent shops in the ancient market town of Bradford on Avon, then whip up a snack in the farmhouse-style kitchen.
“This place is simply beautiful. Secluded, spacious and homely it offered exactly what I was after to surprise my partner for a lovely little romantic break away. The host sent through a welcome message with all the details on gaining entry, where to go if you wanted to eat out and the contact details if you needed anything. There was a lovely little rest of goodies on arrival (drink and shortbread) along with milk in the fridge. The bedroom in the mezzanine area is spacious and the bed very comfortable! The kitchen has everything you need and the shower room, although downstairs from the bedroom, is light and fresh and has all the toiletries. We ended up eating at The Bunch of Grapes in Bradford-on-Avon, which the food was amazing! Would definitely recommend if you’re happy to spend that little bit more. Could not fault it or the service. Following night we ate at the local village pub, The New Inn. Again lovely, decent pub food, with very good portions. Again could not fault. Will definitely look to return at some point.”
