Charming quaint home in Cleveland west suburb on a quiet residential street 15 minutes from downtown. It’s an easy drive for sports and concert events. A newly remodeled cute and cozy bedroom and a private bath await you. Enjoy your morning coffee or tea in our homey kitchen or patio. We offer a continental breakfast including yogurt, bagels and fresh fruit. We have three much loved pets who will happily greet you! All very sweet and gentle.
“Sally is a very nice person, she greeted me with a big smile. Her place is well arranged, she added a few nice touches that make you feel like you're home. She gives good recommendations if you ask her. Her two small puppies are adorable as well. The area is very safe, the room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom is outside the room but still feels like a private one. Her place will definitely be on top of my list if I ever come back to the area.”
This is an urban/zen carriage house apartment, cozy yet spacious with the artists recycling hand at work. The neighborhood includes all the faces of America. I live in the stately house adjacent to the garage apartment. There is a back courtyard with a fire pit area. The house itself is on Detroit Ave. The apartment faces the side street which is Thoreau. The neighborhood is quiet. People walk up to Drugmart or City Hall nearby and early on weekdays middle schoolers can be heard going to the school nearby, but for all this people activity, this urban neighborhood is peaceful. Folks who stay here say it is perfect for a retreat .Looking to disappear for awhile? Come to "Nan's Nook on Thoreau." In Lakewood. We are family friendly. This could be a good spot for a couple traveling with a baby . We can accommodate.
“Nan’s Nook is an excellent value, an entire 1 bedroom apt for a great price. The place was very clean and I felt safe. The bed was really comfortable. You can control the temperature of the apartment to your liking. Nan provides coffee (it’s in the fridge), snacks, and breakfast items in the freezer. Her description is accurate. The front room is very spacious and has lots of natural lighting. I loved the artwork. Her communication is great. If you need a place for one or two, do not hesitate to stay here. Local restaurants are good, too. Loved it.”
We welcome all races, religions and LGBTQ. Our apartment is eclectic and fun. Being light-filled and surrounded by trees, it's like being in a tree house. Due to Covid19, I no longer orient guests to the apartment, but allow them to make themselves at home. I also clean hard surfaces and frequently touched items with a Clorox solution.
“Cute home with a comfortable atmosphere. Heather is kind and makes amazing muffins! The personal touches makes you feel at home. Books for adults and kids as well as some kids were available. Will definitely stay again when visiting family!”
