Located in scenic Avery County, secluded yet close to town, Alpenhaus is located at over 4000 ft. The house features 2 enclosed decks and is surrounded by woods on 3 sides. Wake up to green trees outside your bedroom window or watch the sunrise reflected on the mountains. Look out for foxes as you enjoy breakfast on the south facing deck. In autumn, watch the leaves change from green to hues of red and gold. Enjoy a game of golf at Mountain Glen Golf Club or take a short drive to Grandfather Mountain or Linville Falls, drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway or go hiking or rafting, see the stalactites at Linville Caverns and then come back to appreciate the sunset from the living room window. Two bedroom 1.5 bath remodeled brick rancher located directly across from Willow Creek Golf Course. We recently added a screened in patio in what was the former carport. Interior can best be described as cottage cozy, and the outside space boasts a backyard patio, fire pit, and large empty lot for play space. The master bedroom has one queen bed. The second bedroom has one twin and one roll away bed. The sectional sofa is very large and can be used to accommodate a fifth guest.
