For the lover of peace and space. In the middle of the beautiful scenic landscape of the Westerkwartier is our farmhouse. We rent out the old chicken shed as a Bed and Breakfast. In the area you can feel free to go hiking or cycling. Directly at a junction route. Public transport and a supermarket are within cycling/walking distance. Drachten and Groningen are 15-25 minutes away by car. Leeuwarden is about 45 minutes drive. Breakfast package possible, preferably passed on before arrival.

Come and stay in the Noardlike Fryske Wâlden. This area is known for its many allotmentes. A beautiful green environment, with many cycling and hiking trails. Located on the N358, you will be on the road again in no time for a visit to the Wadden Islands or the eleven cities in Friesland. Our garden is adjacent to the meadows of Staatsbosbeheer and has wide views. With any luck you'll see the deer walking. For 12.50 euros per person per night you can enjoy a delicious breakfast in the morning.

Tine and Hans are very attentive hosts who respond quickly and kindly to any inquiries (which was not often necessary). We were offered to check in a little earlier than stated. The place is tastefully decorated, very clean and quiet. I can say that it was a very uncomplicated stay for us because everything was as described. There is nothing negative to report, so we can recommend the accommodation without restriction!
