View multitudes of "flora and fauna" along with the fainting goats, chickens, rabbits & other critters of "The Farm". Go for a canoe or kayak trip and try your luck at catch & release fishing. A 1940's cottage right in the heart of quaint downtown East Tawas. East Tawas is located on Michigan’s Sunrise Side. The area is well known for its sparkling turquoise waters and clean public sandy beaches. Just two blocks to Newman St and you can enjoy local shopping and dining or the ice cream and chocolate shops, and the 1935 historic movie theater. Bring your boat and enjoy Lake Huron or catch some fish for dinner. Kayaks and canoes can be put in at various spots along the Au Sable River.

Our home is about 6 blocks from Lake Huron and just minutes to downtown shopping, restaurants, beaches, parks, boat launches and more. Patti's Getaway is only: about 8 miles from Tawas Point State Park (good place to bird watch) , about 12 miles from Corsair Trails, about 15 miles form Iargo Springs and Lumbermen's Memorial, just to name a few places.

This cozy two-bedroom getaway is on a private lot located only minutes away from the ORV trails and less than two miles from Wicker Hills Golf Course. All essentials are provided plus some extras. WIFI, Smart TV, DVD collection, and games are available in addition to a washer and dryer for your convenience. Outside you can enjoy the screened-in sitting area, fire pit, grill, and picnic table. Located 10.9 miles from Hale and 15 miles from Glennie. Self-check-in with the lockbox.

The Little Oak Cottage

Welcome to The Little Oak Cottage! There are two bedrooms, one with a queen bed, the other with two sets of twin bunk beds. There is one bathroom, with shower (no tub) **We ask you bring your own bedding/pillows and bath towels. We are a 10 minute walk to a gorgeous beach on Lake Huron. Fire pit, hammock, deck area. Explore the area! We are 20 min drive to Tawas City, golf courses and plenty of areas to fish. We are pet friendly but do ask you clean up after your pets!

Our cabin has been in our family over 40 years, this is our first time hosting our beloved home. We hope you find it charming, comforting and a place to build beautiful memories. This adorable two bedroom, one bath, cabin like guesthouse sits behind the owners house with an attached private one car garage. This house features two private entrances! The house is about 1,000 sq feet, and includes a fenced in backdoor so your pets can enjoy the outdoors in a secured space. There is a deck with a small grill to enjoy your outdoor festivities. Back yard also has a fire pit with wood for those crisp nights of relaxation by a fire.
