Tent vacation rentals in Asia

We found this place while randomly browsing on airbnb to stay near didupe falls. Shiva spoke to us after we booked this place and since then we were amazed by his hospitality and the way he guided us to reach his place. The place is well located inside the forest with excellent scenic views and you can hear the sound of water flowing from his stay. Shiva’s knowledge of the surroundings is simply superb and this stay is a must if you are someone who wants to explore things without having a fixed plan or schedule. The icing on the cake is the food along with those random conversations with Shiva which you won’t forget for sometime. I recommend this to anyone looking for a place in this area and to others who is confused about to where to spend your weekend away from Bangalore :D

When I closed my eyes I still can see that magestic mountain, river, trees and heaing exotic birds sounds in that peaceful nature! We planned to stay for 2 days and extended one more day because we loved that place so much. We ordered every meals and just enjoyed all facilites. Food was delicious, they all cooked with care and love not like commerically made food. Location is not easy to access - We took a train from Kanchanaburii to Nam tok station then the host sent a taxi to Nam tok station for us to get there. It was so worthy to take all the trip from Bangkok to Kanchnaburi to Nam Tok station to stay there. Absolutely I will go there again.

On an incredibly hot day it was amazing to be welcomed with a delicious cold lemon juice. The stay also offered peaceful nature walks with a guide and a Sri Lankan cooking demonstration included in the price. We had difficulties with transport to the stay but Anuruddha & co. were very flexible. Thank you so much!

Beautiful gardens and great hospitality. Lively bar and fun games at night, and delicious food. The beach is unfortunately full of trash however which is heartbreaking.

It was much more cozy than I expected, so it was good. It's in Itaewon, so I can't even play loudly late at night. And the wind was cool, so I played so much fun.

This is a lovely place to stay if you are looking to trek in and around Chakrata. The hosts are a kind, gentle couple who took special care in showing us around the place even going as far as to plan our entire trek to Devban. Accomodation is bare minimum in terms of amenities but the hosts do as best as they can to make you feel comfortable . Perfect place to stay if your primary interest is to trek.

Love the place. Peaceful, beautiful, easy check in and the care taker was friendly and attended to all our questions and needs. Will be place that I would love to come back to. ;) Do prepare your own food (we did our super marketing at the terminal area) as this round they were unable to cater to the BBQ dinner.

This was my 3rd stay at Dahilig! it's got a great view and a nice pool. I don't want to be right in Sabang or Puerto Galera town so this place was good for me. I walked to both when I didn't have the motorbike rental. It is about 20 mins to walk to Sabang and 30 mins walk to PG town. Dahilig was quiet and Mariam is friendly. I booked this tent ad but the tent isn't up at the moment. I was put into the end room of the single rooms. There is a bathroom very close in the main building and a fan in the Room. These are the cheapest rooms I think but it suited me just fine. I even stayed for 10 days. The room had a twin size bed I think it was, a table, a chair and a bedside table as well as the fan of course. I would return. If you want a room at Dahilig with air con or cook top I suggest looking up Dahilig resort on ag.oda as the prices are more for a better room but not by a lot. Thank you, Rogel and Mariam!

The overall structure or system is so well done, and the description is detailed and kind, so it's really nice! It's a little regrettable that the dishes and dishes were so messed up that I knew some of the things that were a little embarrassing, but the wind stirred all morning, so I could hardly sleep at the sound of the tent fluttering. It wasn't a problem with the accommodation because the next tent and the soundproofing were less than 1, so it was a pity that the people who came with didn't keep the manners time or the sound of dogs barking from too early. Still, this place is well organized as a space for dogs, so if you have a puppy, I think it's definitely worth a visit!

This place is an incredible weekend getaway that offers great value without breaking the bank. The staff is consistently respectful and responsive, and Zakir is an exceptionally friendly and understanding host. The activities available here are not only fun but also incredibly engaging.

Really good people running a really good air BnB. Would highly recommend and come back.

Let us be clear, you stay on an island away from the hustle and bustle of El Nido (Palawan). The surroundings are beautiful and soothingly calm, there are 4 extremely friendly dogs of varying sizes and a playful cat on the property. We were easily transported with car, then boat to the property and enjoyed our peace and quiet on the island. They provide incredibly delicious food and drinks at a higher price than what you would find on the main land but the quality more than makes up for it. We were also able to book a private boat tour of the surroundings, where they took us to a beautiful small beach on a tiny island with no one around, and several snorkeling spots with beautiful marine life and corals, unmatched from what we experienced of the general boat trips provided with tourist tours. We were extremely happy to have found this spot and would recommend it to any couple looking for a stay away from it all, this was exactly what we were looking for.

I want to go again in the summer with a very nice facility!

My family enjoyed our stay especially my kids. The place is serene and quiet, so calm and you could definitely relax. Plus, the place is really clean. The room and the surrounding is superb!

It was my 2nd time to stay in this place. Had a great time with my friends! This is a really private place where you can enjoy nature with your friends. It is a go-to place near Manila where you can enjoy nature and peace during the weekend.

Had such a great stay at Preeyaphat’s place! It has this awesome country-style vibe that totally gave me Red Dead Redemption feels. Super cozy and relaxing, with just the right mix of rustic and comfy. Preeyaphat is an incredible host—very responsive and attentive, making sure everything was just right throughout my stay. If you’re looking for a unique getaway with a cozy, Western-inspired atmosphere, I highly recommend staying here. I’ll definitely be back!

If you want a moment of respite from the hustle and bustle of the busy world, this place is the perfect escape for you. The place could've done with a bit of trimming of the plants in order to allow a better view of the lagoon and a washroom at a closer vicinity to the camp. Else, this place is actually perfect.

Our stay at Mahatao Island was nothing short of amazing! The serene beauty of the island and Lumot Lake was complemented by the warm and accommodating attitude of the owner. They truly went above and beyond to ensure our experience was perfect. What stood out the most was how responsive and considerate the owner was. From answering our queries to accommodating our requests, they were always quick to respond and genuinely cared about our comfort and enjoyment. They weren’t strict with time, allowing us to relax and fully immerse ourselves in the peaceful ambiance of the island. The place itself was well-maintained, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Whether you’re looking for a tranquil escape or a unique getaway, Mahatao Island is a hidden gem. Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely be back!

I can really recommend staying here. Danushka and colleagues went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and worthwhile. I was sick when I arrived and the staff helped me a lot with that, they even went into town to get me the things I needed to get better and they helped me to see a doctor. It was a very comfortable bed and a quiet place to stay. it was very clean and the food was yummy. Thank-you!

Had such a wonderful time at Beyond Community. It was peaceful, serene and just the kind of getaway we were looking for. Not too many people staying on the property meant more privacy and the added bonus were the cats and dogs. We loved having the furry babies around. At night, all the dogs would sit outside our tent and we’d have a party of our own. Moka, the boxer was our absolute favourite. The tent was very comfortable, it had an AC also for when it got warm. The bathroom was clean and there was a kitchen outside for whenever we needed hot water or chai. The property is 10 minutes from main Auroville market and a lot of cafés to eat around. The road to get to the property is a bit bumpy but it’s worth the destination. Definitely going on out list of “To Revisit” for the quietness and calm of this place but mostly for the furry babies and Moka.

Such a beautiful place! We were lucky to have it all to ourselves, which added to the charm. The tent was cozy and rustic, perfect if you’re looking for solitude and simplicity. Bring some snacks and food—there’s not much around. We only stayed one night, but it was a magical night under the stars.

My wife and her friend had a fantastic stay at Kevin's place. Nestled amidst small hills, the location provided a peaceful and serene environment. The private setting and great view added to the charm of the place. The great view from the property was truly captivating, and they especially loved spending time on the rooftop machan, where they could enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding area. The gentle breeze added a touch of freshness to their stay, making it even more memorable. They felt safe and secure during their time at Kevin's place, allowing them to enjoy their vacation fully.
