Waterfront vacation rentals in Armação de Pêra

We had a wonderful vacation in Carvoeiro and the apartment. The location was just right for us and the apartment fulfilled all our wishes. We'll be back for sure. Likely the best location in Algarve if you are looking for a quiet stay. Apartment is nice, clean, well located, nice balcony, Kitchen is well equipped. We were expecting something upscale and trendy but it was a bit dated, however it is still very nice and very much above average. We could easily have spent 2-3 weeks here ! Armacao de Pera is often an overlooked beach city for a stay. It is quiet VERY quiet (except dog barking), everything closes around 10PM. But you still can get ice cream and a cold beer at Gelatos upto mid-night. Then if you need wild animation Arbufeira and Portimao are within 15 min ride. (Uber cost only 12-15 euro to get backhome). Then the best part is the beach : right in front of the apartment. It is the best soft sand beach in the area and its temperature is above the coast's average. We LOVED this place.

We stayed in one of the Berrio’s unit and it was perfect. The unobstructed view was amazing. The pools were fantastic for our 4 year old son, we enjoyed it everyday! The place is just a short walk away from Carvoeiro via a nice boardwalk along the sea. The bistro was so convenient for us when we just wanted a quick bite or a drink next to the pool. And the service was wonderful! If you want a relaxing time, enjoying the algarve without any stress, this is your place!

This apt by the beach couldn’t have been better! It was clean and cool (AC), well equipped (more than enough clothes hangers!) and very spacious. The host was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. The location is perfect if you want to stay close to the area, but also a great spot to easily grab an Uber and hit several gorgeous beaches within a 20 minute drive. I highly recommend it and would book again in an instant. Thank you to our wonderful hosts!

The location of the house is amazing: a few meters from the beach, in a soothing setting. Ideal base for the most beautiful walks in the area along the coast. The house is tastefully decorated and quality materials. It is perfectly equipped with everything you might need for a dream stay (impeccable house base, equipped kitchen, bbq, beach towels, etc.) . Stephanie has thought of everything! This home is a perfect beachfront home, but also turns into a soft and warm cocoon thanks to the wood burning stove when the weather is less mild. Stephanie is a perfect host, attentive and always available. Thanks again for everything! Last point: you will find in front of the house 2 delicious restaurants offering amazing grilled fish! It was a dream stay! We leave this house with memories in our heads and we hope to come back soon!

Had an amazing time here and underestimated how good the location is. Easy to jump in and out of the fun of Albufeira and an easy walk to public parking. Marina was super responsive and communicated well. Wish we could stay longer!

Teresa is amazing - the place is terrific. Really well located yet quiet. I’m a quite tall so I am not always suitable for Portuguese homes, but the home is perfect in every way. Very quaint very clean and very comfortable.

Our stay at Casa Bombarda was the highlight of our trip—both the unit and Lagos completely exceeded our expectations. The home is absolutely beautiful, with three stunning outdoor spaces, including a rooftop patio where we enjoyed ocean views and unforgettable sunsets. Luis was a fantastic host—great with communication, full of helpful recommendations, and always quick to respond to any questions or needs we had. The unit is fully equipped with everything you need for cooking and cleaning, which made our stay incredibly comfortable and convenient. The location is ideal: a short walk to the heart of old town and close to amazing restaurants, shops, and beaches. Casa Bombarda went well above and beyond what we hoped for. We’ll always remember our time here and will be recommending it to everyone we know!

We had a great stay. The space was very modern and comfortable and in a very walkable location. We took the opportunity to buy a great bottle of wine for under 4 Euros at the grocery store and enjoyed it on the rooftop patio in the early evening! Thanks for a lovely stay. Carol

Our stay was brilliant, the air bnb is gorgeous with a cool small pool to cool off in, and extremely close to a wide selection of local restaurants, a supermarket and the marina. Communication with the host was nice and easy, and the air bnb very thoughtfully had everything we could need. The only slight downside was the construction noise from next door, but don’t let this put you off, we had some days by the pool and playing some music was enough to cover it & it was always finished by 5pm. Highly recommend and would love to stay again!

Great friendly hosts who really made sure that we felt at home. Location is perfect - right by the beach. Easy drive to nearby grocery store and town centre. Home was very spacious and had a beautiful window. Enjoyed the stay.

Fabulous location! Beach, amazing boardwalk, and town very near, just lots of stairs! But that is beautiful Portugal! Views from porch were fantastic; everything you needed was in the kitchen and it was a very welcoming place. We didn’t use the pool, but it is a good size and well maintained. Master shower is a bit tight, but a big beautiful bath is 5 steps away, so really no big deal. I would definitely book here again if the opportunity arises!

You stay here for the view, and you will not be disappointed!

Rosa’s place was great and exactly as described. Very short distance to beach and town (~15 min). She had recommendations which we appreciated. Check-in was easy. The place was as described and Rosa was super communicative. We encountered some issues after checkin and Rosa handled them immediately, which was so appreciated!! We had a great stay at Robin and Sonia's apartment. The apartment was spotless, tidy, quiet and had a fantastic sea view. The beach is only a 5 minute walk, and there are plenty of other stunning beaches a short drive away. The easy parking was also a bonus. We'll definitely be staying again if we are in the area!
