Nice and quiet place at 500 m from Bears Cave.
“We loved staying in the cabin :) It was a nice and cosy place in the backyard, but felt like we were alone between the apple, pear and walnuts trees. In the evening you can make a campfire, traians parents came to help us with wood we could use. They made us feel very welcome. To bad we don't speak Romanian, we couldn't really communite with them. But we could send Traian and message and he would help us out! It's walking distance to the bears cave (half an hour more or less). If u have a car you can also drive for walking trails.”
Our home is a naturally-constructed house and almost a century old. It is a farm based on growing fruits, vegetables and medicinal plants. We live in a village situated 500 m above sea level, surrounded by mountains and wild forests. The view is spectacular, the air is pure, the water comes from springs and the local people are very warm. Old and lost traditions are still alive here. Guests come from all over the world to experience our ecological way of life and come back many times.
“If you want to experience real Romanian homestay it is good choice. We appreciated most Julias cooking..everything from her garden and very tasty after two weeks in Romania. Even we had rainy days was nice just to hanging around in quiet and peaceful countryside.”
Welcome to our small paradise: Tihna Crisului! This may be the adventure you are seeking, away from civilization, in the middle of pure Romanian nature! Find the peacefulness of a sky full of stars, explore the forests and mountains around and enjoy the silence. Amazing landscape and great hiking!
“Our stay at Flaviu was truly wonderful! His place is a little piece of heaven, away from the real world in the most beautiful way. We really recommend to experience a visit to the Tihna!”
