We lived here for a week and felt very comfortable. Diana and her husband were very friendly and not intrusive. Restaurants and supermarket within walking distance. For tours in the national park, driving short distances by car - that was perfect. Thank you very much for cake and wine👍

Large house with 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms and well-equipped kitchen. It was five nights of complete rest. Everything went as expected. To highlight the possibility of interacting with animals… excellent space to be with the family. Of course, there are aspects that could be improved and that José said he was dealing with… electricity power and the fact that there is no TV/Internet service. Nothing that has impaired the experience. Thank you very much José.

The space visited is truly welcoming, offering what is strictly necessary for a comfortable and pleasant stay. The simplicity of the place and the houses does not compromise the quality of the experience, providing an environment where you feel at home. One of the most notable points is the complete isolation of the site. This feature guarantees an atmosphere of tranquility, ideal for those looking for a refuge away from the noise and hustle and bustle of urban life. Peace and silence are predominant, excellent for walking tours, reading, photographs, etc. In addition, we had the opportunity to interact with the very friendly and kind locals allowing us to participate with the children in their tasks with the animals. In short, this space is an excellent choice for those looking for a simple but welcoming environment. We were two families and we used both houses, an ideal situation because the common spaces are to share. Thanks ! Silvia.

Maria had an issue with the original place we booked but immediately offered solutions. We ended up keeping our original booking date but in a smaller space. It was completely adequate, comfortable and enjoyable. We arrived the day of the power outage so GPS was not working. Luckily, Maria had previously described the location so we were able to get very close and then asked some locals and found the place without any issues. This is a beautiful city and will plan to return one day and book with Maria again.

The property was well equipped and nicely set out, plenty of space. Two double bedrooms, beds very comfortable. Bathroom was compact, lovely shower with plenty of hot water and fittings were top notch. Kitchen area had everything you needed. Beautiful views outside the rear of the property. We would definitely recommend Joana’s house.

We had a wonderful stay! The house is even more beautiful than in the photos – a cozy, well-kept space full of details that make a difference. When we arrived, we were greeted with a homemade bread that was still warm, a super thoughtful gesture and it immediately set the tone for the rest of the stay. Carina and Filipe were super helpful and concerned about making sure everything was going well, which made us feel very welcome. We highly recommend it and we will definitely return!

Maria and her husband were incredibly kind to me and my family / friends. We came from all over with young children and everyone had the most amazing time, food, hospitality, wine, good vibes all round. Maria kindly let us stay an extra night, and graciously bought us lots of wine and extras. I had a long lovely chat with Maria and we spoke about the world and life. It was a very good few days. Everything was very nice! Mr. Carlos and his parents are very kind. It is undoubtedly a place I will return to when I go back to those parts.

Mário and Judite were amazing hosts! Really responsive and friendly and provided great recommendations and really easy face to face check in and out! The space was pristine and everything was thought of. Everything in the space was of great quality from the appliances to the linens. The pool area is lovely and gardens well kept, the fire pits and bbq are ready to use straight away too! I would 100% recommend this to anyone. It was such a peaceful and relaxing stay with everything we could have needed :)

On the positive side, the place lived up to its description. Fatima was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our experience better. There were enough parking spaces for three cars. On the negative side, the hot water reservoir wasn't sufficient for ten people to take showers. As a result, some of us had to take cold showers every day. Additionally, the location is situated on narrow roads, making it challenging to reach by car.

Beautiful and peaceful home with private access to the river. Would recommend staying here! Our dogs loved it too.

Perfect place for a quiet rural holiday. The house has a lot of charm mixing old with new. The kitchen was well equipped and we ate in every night. It has a large, pretty garden with citrus trees. It is within easy distance of many historical towns as well as a national park. We did not meet Céu but she responded very quickly to any requests we had. We would have no hesitation in staying there again.

A great, quiet location equipped with all comforts. We got very regular vegetables from our own garden and wine. Our privacy was greatly respected.

We felt very well attended to x Edgar, who in this case was the person responsible for the house. She was very friendly and left everything perfectly tidy, clean and with directions for routes and walks. The house is a charm...and the fireplace heats a thousand wonders! HIGHLY recommended!!

It was a great place to spend the Year! The place is small and welcoming. It has everything you need to spend a few days. Fantastic walking tours along the river that is very close. A cozy space in a private nook where we spent very happy moments with family and friends. We were 4 adults and 6 children. The social area of the house (kitchen, living room, patio, barbecue and swimming pool) is very close, which allows moments of permanent conviviality. It is close to fantastic riverside spots, where we can enjoy nature and bathe in crystal-clear waters! In the harmony of everyday life, Sílvia was always an asset, easy to contact and with an immediate response. Thank you for having us!!

I had a great stay at this accommodation! The house was clean, well-equipped and very comfortable, exactly as described in the listing. The host was super attentive and available to answer all my questions, which made all the difference. I recommend without hesitation!

I can't wait to return and stay longer! The quaint but updated cottage was tranquil and close to trails in the national park. The woodburner can be supplemented with electric radiators to keep the cottage cozy. The beds were comfortable. You may want to bring food supplies with you especially during the non-summer months as we found most restaurants were closed.
