Great house, even better garden! We had a very pleasant stay.

Joana’s place was more than we imagined! It was actually 2 individual apartments in one house, each with room for 2 families, though we were just 2 couples. The privacy and the beach view were worth the stairs climb!! The stairs are a workout!!! Joana was an amazing host. Would recommend highly!

It has been sometime since I stayed in a real home-y and cosy house like Betty's. Our whole group (two families with small children ) was very pleasantly surprised by this beautifully decorated home. There were many essentials as well as some offerings by the host readily available. The location(although not very close to the historic center) is fantastic as it is possible to walk to some famous rock pools and a beach, as well as many restaurants, a mall and a supermarket. Would recommend to anyone in a heartbeat.

Raquel’s place was absolutely impeccable. After five nights of hopping between different beds, my friend and I felt so lucky to land here for three restful nights — exactly what we needed. The space had everything we could have asked for and more. The check-in process was super easy, and Raquel had everything clearly laid out with thoughtful instructions. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us — it truly felt like a breath of fresh air.

Beautiful house. The driveway is easy to miss if you're not paying close attention the first time. Well equipped kitchen. Next to a walking trail by the sea. Well situated to drive to other attractions around the island. Fanal forest, P Moniz, Santana, PR16, were not far away.

Amazing location in picturesque village

Family home, nice in a very nice quiet village without a car. We fell in love with Jardim do Mar, its small alleys with its typical gardens! Thank you Sofia, we felt at home 😊🙏

This place was amazing! The house took a little bit to get to, some stairs and pathways, but once there, the view was breath taking, the accommodations amazing, and the host excellent. João met us to help us navigate down the first time, and was super accommodating and helpful. Calheta was a great location for us as a base to see the rest of the island and the beach and waterfront was really nice to walk along. I would highly recommend staying here on your trip.

This is a beautiful Airbnb and we truly enjoyed our stay — from beginning to end. The accommodation was next-level… beautiful interior and private deck on the second floor, and a shared infinity pool that overlooked the busy street below, but felt like you were in your own little paradise. Definitely recommend and will stay here again on our next trip to Madeira!

We had a fantastic time on the island. In addition to the nature that makes Madeira so fascinating, we were also able to spend some very relaxing days in our accommodation. Everything was just like in the pictures, so we could start our vacation with a great feeling. The accommodation was modern, clean and very luxurious with a pool and the number of rooms, each with its own bathroom. And who wouldn't want to wake up with a view of the sea? Wonderful. Henrique was also easy to contact if we had any questions and check-in with the key box was very simple. There is a small supermarket in this small town if you need anything. Otherwise, Calheta is not far away with larger shopping facilities. There are a few restaurants within walking distance of the accommodation, although the accommodation with its large kitchen and outdoor grill is of course also perfect for a meal. Thank you for a wonderful time in Madeira, we'd love to come back!

The place was just great and exceeded our expectations! The house is really huge, you have plenty of space and privacy, even if you travel as a group. The pool was heated at our request and the temperature was very pleasant. Simply a dream when you can watch the sunset while lying in the pool. The amenities were also great, everything we needed was there. In addition, a garage, we were able to park the second car in front of the gate. The location was quiet, only on weekends there is a lot going on in the restaurants at the end of the street, also many motorcycle drivers who are not exactly quiet. But it was still fine. Overall, the accommodation is highly recommended and the landlord is very friendly.

This condo was beautiful, clean, and had an amazing view. Plenty of seating, close to a grocery store and many restaurants. The infinity pool which looked over the ocean was lovely. We would definitely recommend.

upon arrival we were very well received by Ana. She explained everything to us and we were even able to arrive a little early at the apartment. She gave us tips for sightseeing, dining, and also told us the nearest supermarket. Ana was at her best!!! The apartment is perfect, there is everything you need even more than we imagined. Thank you for everything! We were able to fully enjoy this beautiful island. And Gabriel spent almost all his evenings in the pool 😄 thank you again from all 3 of us

Scott’s place is a great place, not only because the back porch gave an EXCELLENT view, but there was a bus stop right outside the gate! Waking up and coming back to the gorgeous ocean view made our stay worth every penny!

This place is very nice! It has a beautiful view, on a quiet street with a lots of privacy. Inside was bigger than we expected and very cosy. It has everything you need and we really felt at home and relaxed. There is a steep but short walk directly to the center, with some good restaurants and a grocery store. Zeza is very responsive, enthusiastic and friendly. If we go back to Madeira, we will come back!

We had a fantastic stay at Filipe’s home, which is beautiful and really thoughtfully designed. It’s very well appointed, spotlessly clean and in a very charming little village away from the hustle and bustle of Funchal, but still accessible by car. Communication was excellent and the fruit and biscuits were a lovely touch. Highly recommended.

The three of us spent a week here. The view is amazing. You can quickly get to the hiking trails, supermarket and restaurants, but you can also cook and barbecue yourself and enjoy the holiday on the balcony overlooking the sea.

A great house in a beautiful location! You can't get any closer to the sea and the sound of the sea accompanies you day and night. The house is very tastefully decorated and super clean. You make yourself at home straight away! Constantino is very helpful and has great tips. Without him, we would never have found the little beach in Seixal... We were here 14 days and enjoyed every minute. Thank you, Constantino!

To start with, I never put 10 because perfection does not exist but I regret that we can't give a rating of 9.9!!! The house is super welcoming and perfectly equipped. There was even salt and pepper, oil and vinegar which we can't find much now, plus two “welcome presents,” which becomes extremely rare. We stayed in the northernmost room: PERFECT bedding! (Which, too, becomes very rare). In addition, the location is ideal for visiting Madeira and the sunsets in early May (Good, only 5 out of ten evenings because of the curious weather) were beautiful! The layout (bedroom + dressing room + bathroom) is also perfectly thought out. The “winter lounge” which allows you to have breakfast and dinner overlooking the sea and warm is also a plus. Perfect contact and responsiveness of the host, even at 6 am (storm and power outage)!!!. In short, a great stay

I can’t say enough about this ocean view, extremely spacious, charming rental❤️ I would highly recommend for a Girl’s Trip/Family Vacation as there are 3 large bedrooms and 3 full baths! Seixal’s beautiful ocean and mountain view is hilly. It is a short, but steep walk to the beach, restaurants, and a small, but packed grocery store. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves (and nearby waterfalls) was dreamy (as was a rooster in the distance❤️). The best lookouts on the island were nearby, and we loved the PR16 Levada walk, PR1 sunrise, Fanal Forest, and natural pools in Porto Moniz and Seixal. None of us wanted to leave!
